I probably should collect her PVs, I've seen them, but didn't download any...I know she has a new single out, but I didn't get a chance to hear the whole thing, it's played on her official website though....I think....

This is put my friend from Japan, who exchanged to my school last year, told me the rumor that Kuraki was trying to copy Utada, which I don't really think can be true since no music is EXACTLY a like...she could be inspired by her, that's a possibility..

OMG, I didn't realise there was a Mai K thread here. She was the first JPop singer I liked. Very pretty girl and I love her voice.

I'm getting my sis to buy me her latest album...it feels like Kuraki is slipping from the music world though, or may be it's just my world of music she's slipping from...

when i first heard Mai's "Secret of my heart", i thought she was Utada Hikaru! i think their voices are kinda similiar. the song's lyric was beautiful, though. Mai also has a 'shaky' voice, much like Utada..

by the way i'm a new member, so i'd like to say hi to everybody!

oh you're even better, ayum. i only have secret of my heart and that's it! hahahaha.. i'm a fan of meitantei conan and found that song as conan's closing theme song. when i first heard it, i thought this singer has a good voice then start searching for the name. like i said before i thought she was utada hikaru, but then i found Mai Kuraki's name written.. i was like "oh.. not utada? but isn't that utada's voice?" i love the song anyway, it's kinda unique and beautiful. i almost cry when i read the lyric

yes, it's an anime. it's about a young senior-high-school-student detective whose body was shrinked. do u watch that? i don't really watch the anime because i like reading the comic much better

Yep, I watch that anime everyday (on German tv) It's called Detektiv Conan in german.
I've got the 1st volume of the manga (in german) too....but I prefer the anime. I've got the first 8 episodes on dvd.
Anyways, I'll upload you some of Mai's songs.
