Hey I'm not sure if this is where to post this but I couldn't find a spot I thought was appropriate. I am not entirely familiar with Crunchyroll. Does anyone here use it/recommend it and is it safe? No viruses, etc? Sorry just asking because I'm hoping to watch but don't have a very good download source. Sorry if this is the wrong space but I appreciate any help!

Personally I have never used Crunchyroll, but I believe a lot of people do. I think word would have got around by now if there was a problem with it.

I think somebody cracked the whip on them because last time I looked, ALL the dramas were gone.

And I could have sworn there was a crunchyroll thread, but I can't find it.

well yea all the videos are gone but i think thewy said something like the video are back but on the old version but i don't believe that u can upload any

Well first off, Crunchyroll is a video streaming site, so I don't think you can download anything off of it. It used to have movies/dramas but all those were removed (although you can find one or two still uploaded) at the beginning of the year because it became a legal anime streaming site. They have deals/permission to stream the anime titles they stream. It is safe there is nothing on there that will harm your computer. So if you want to watch anime legally then you can go there.

If you want streaming dramas, try www.veoh.com which, incidentally, you can also download from if you have the Veoh client software.

Didn't realise Crunchyroll had gone legit

if you know how to work it, i think you can save the video off your internet temp files. I think you can also use a video ripper, but I haven' used one.

I watch through mysoju.com. Crunchyroll got super weird lately. I can't handle the bad quality of free vids. Especially after downloading and watching dramas in HD quality

Crunchyroll is not crunchy now...Nothing left there

Thanks to everyone who was/is nice enough to help me out! I am a newb at drama watching and I always want to talk to everyone here about it but I only have wathched a handful to completion. I'm ready to get my drama on!

^ I think you'll find it's a bit like Youtube... they will leave videos up unless someone complains, or the original poster removes them.
