Guess you weren't the only one:
"JIN" finale exceeds 25%
The ratings are in for the popular TBS drama series "JIN." The show's final episode, which aired on Sunday night, averaged an impressive 25.3% in the Kanto region, setting the record for a television drama on a commercial network this year.
Before this, the highest rating for a drama on a commercial network was the first episode of "MR.BRAIN," which achieved 24.8% during its broadcast in May. However, despite breaking the 20% ratings mark with five of its episodes, "JIN" averaged just slightly over 19.0% in its complete 11-episode run, falling short of both "MR.BRAIN" (20.5%) and "Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji" (19.2%).

I wish I were as sophisticated as many of you who know how to d/l dramas, etc. otherwise I'd be doing the same. Is there a JDorama topic on how to do this? |
You mean BitTorrent?
There's a thread here: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic.7957.htm&highlight=bittorrent
Also, there's help over at D-Addicts as well.

I haven't seen the final episode yet but it would deserve a movie or a second season.

Thanks!!
As far as a sequel, I'm not too sure. It might be interesting to have Sakamoto Ryoma and Saki be "beamed" to the future but how would they accomplish that as far as the story is concerned.

If you have specific questions, you might inquire in that thread... I'm sure someone here will be able to help.

I'm rather content how this ended.

Yeah, I wouldn't say I though the ending was terrible. It's just like others have pointed out, it left a lot of questions. I'm guessing it was purposely done this way, in case they decide to go for a second season or movie.

Yup, I think they're setting us up for a sequel. But overall, I really liked this one a lot!

Over the last 2 days I watched the entire drama (I love long weekends). I thought overall, this was a very good drama, but I think it may have been a little too slow in a few places.
I agree that the Cholera scenes were tough to watch.
As for the end
