I like many of his characters...but he played that role perfectly and it was written by Kudo Kankuro who has turned out many of the best Japanese comedies, both in Film and TV. Granted the supporting cast for T&D was just awesome, too. Just awesome. I really liked him in Utahime which was his most recent role.
Hmmm... I think I'm in the process of downloading Utahime. I think I'll watch IWGP after I finish Grumpy Gene... which, by the way, IS getting painful. I can practically pinpoint it to episode 7.

I'm on epi 9 now.
I told you it stanks. As I said long before...that show fell apart....you'll still probably rate it an 8 tho'.

Was going to finish up some more episodes tonight after getting home from work, when my MC crashed on me!
Now I have to wait 2-3 days for the replacement parts to come in so I can solder the thing back together...*le sigh* In the meantime, I'll catch up with series on my laptop, so yay for backup plans!
Planning on starting up Wedding Planner when I get my MC back up and running, but I'll be spot-watching a few episodes here and there of other shows until then.

not enough seeders so I gotta wait like everybody else.
so far, quite impressive. correct me if I'm wrong but four of the actors (including Karina & Ren Osugi) also played roles in "ushi begai wo - love & farm"? _________________

There are direct download links (MU) at the jdramas community on livejournal, just search the tags
Watched To Heart episode 1-3 last night. Fukada Kyoko was very cute, particularly when she's boxing, hee. But that's about it. I think I will probably re-watch some old favourites now.

Yea yer right, but I have Galcir a 6, and I'd rather watch Grumpy Gene than watch dancing toothpicks.
A six....boy kid you're more generous than Mother Theresa ever was....that was one of the worst shows in Japanese history...even the English language press in Japan said as much.

LOL! Yea, I AM way easy. The lowest mark I've given is a 4/10, and that went to KKK2003, which is the worst drama I've ever seen in my life.
I finished Grumpy Gene.

I don't know if it's because of the Engrishy subs, or because I'd lost complete interest... but I'm not quite sure what happened at the end...

Wow, is Grumpy Gene THAT bad? I guess it's a good thing I got it from you, Wyn, instead of continuing to download it and author it myself. I guess it'll move down my queue. Though it's not like I really have a set queue. Can't wait to read your review of it.
Lowest I gave a drama is probably a 3. That honor goes to Slow Trance/Crawl. I still don't get how people can like that drama.
On topic... I watched the 18th episode of Aibou 2 (Partners 2) last night and it was pretty good. I really should watch that series more often because I liked all the episodes I've seen so far. _________________
Well basically they broke up and went their separate ways. The professor moved on to a new relationship and she advanced her career.
Yea, I got that much.

but then she shed tears in the car. So like what, there was regret? Because they spent a lot of time discussing the whole idea of regret before they went their different ways. So that just screws up the entire message. Girl chooses career over man. Girl gets loads of success. Girl regrets leaving man. I thought the whole point was to demonstrate the strength, dedicated, and endurance of a working female.
Mebbe I'm just over-thinking a lame drama.
I'm definitely gonna watch IWGP next. I need something GOOD to take the bad taste out of my mouth. _________________

I think she knows she made the right decision but she was just feeling wistful because of emotions re: the whole relationship. Dunno.

Ahhhhh that makes sense. Toshi-kun is so cmrt!
Yeah right. I dunno...it's just a stab. Well IWGP is a totally different beast....it's quite weird in many ways...but it was funny...I love Kudo Kankuro dramas....the same guy who wrote Tiger and Dragon. The characters of Makoto and his friend are pretty dayem funny.

I saw the first three episodes a while back at my cousin's house and thought the drama was great! Plus Tomoya-kun is in it. _________________
