Also just watched episode 7 of LIFE. Excellent, although it's about as subtle as a brick and most of the male cast seem to be in competition about who can overact the most.

Lemme guess: they're JE boys. Beaten

I'm guessing they are also in competition for "Most Ridiculous Hairdo".

Do real-life Japanese schoolboys (and workers, as far as that goes) really look like that? Crazy

I re-watched Kuitan 2 Ep. 4 last night. I never finished Kuitan 2 for various reasons and forgot where I got up to Bleah But it's worth re-watching this series, it's so funny Victory! Peace!

Just finish watching Yasuko to kenji.
Never intend to watch it, but after red posting that said it's a worth to watch dorama, I got curious than I watched it without knowing the cast.
When I saw first episode, I felt that the actor look familiar, later I discovered that they're the drummer of Tokio en Kanjani 8 Bonk

The dorama itself, I think it's very entertaining en it makes me laugh out loud. Plus I think it's the first time I saw Hirosue Ryoko play that kind of role.
So I think it's worth to watch. Plus the theme song by tokio is a good song, I really like it.

Actually LIFE seems to be mercifully free of Johnny's. Also the main offender in the overacting stakes has no hair, so maybe he's over compensating.

Talking of Johnny's, I'm still surprised about how much I'm enjoying Haikei, Chichiue-sama, mainly as it isn't the sort of thing I'd normally watch. Ninomiya Kazunari is a bit anonymous and understated as the lead, but that's much more preferable than rampant overacting. The writing is first class.

I'm also enjoying Jikou Keisatsu, although nothing has been as good as the first episode. It's the non-sequiturs that crack me up every time. I've just noticed that episode 6 was directed and/or written by Sono Shion and has Yoshitaka Yuriko as a guest, so I'll be definitely watching that tonight. That reminds me, I must get round to watching Noriko's Dinner Table.

You got that right Smile I watched eps 5 & 6 last night - it's not spoiling to say that the foods were curry and takoyaki... I was drooling throughout.

Finished watching Yasuko To Kenji. Had a lot of fun with that show. First half of series kinda started of repetitive, but the last half builds more on the characters and finishes off with a surprisingly fun, touching, and entertaining story.

His loud roomate is a Johnny's too. Glad you're enjoying it Smile

Oh! My Girl...ep 3.

Nothing to rave about... just a nice easy to watch comedy romance. The acting so far is almost amateurish.... or maybe it's the script that fails to stir the emotions. Yet for me a good drama... nice to see something without a fatal disease (which I now avoid like the plague) or a bunch of rowdy high schoolers.

Thank you so much!!!... When I saw the cast on this, I was amazed at so much talent in one show...but then when no regular subbers picked it up, I was very disappointed...bless you for taking it on!!!

You're welcome! I'm actually doing to for practice more than anything. I can't promise 100% accuracy but it's enough to understand the show. Just some small parts here and there I've sort of had to write in something that sounds like it makes sense because I wasn't totally sure. Nothing major.

You needn't worry...

One of the best subbers ever at d-addicts was dancestar24...
she'd take on a show and the initial subs were just sad...but as the show progressed, her subs just got better and better, til at the end they were almost perfect...

All I'm saying is she seemed to sense the cadence and flow of the dialogue...

I'm betting you will to!!
