Watched episode 3 of Love Shuffle. That creepy girl is quite annoying. Hope she snaps out of it. At least the panda helped somewhat.

That would be Yoshitaka Yuriko... Didn't like her character at all.

I like her better in Shiroi Haru (Still waiting for the last 2 parts)

In the meantime, I'm getting ready to start Mr. Brain.

Galileo Ep.1

This is my first experience with Shibasaki Kou. She seems quite good, but the story didn't really grab me. I was really tired though, so i'll give it another shot.

Natsuko no Sake episode 2

Old drama like this really has something special about them... Wakui Emi is definitely growing on me.

Natsuko no Sake is interesting in its presentation of a dual culturality--the world-unto-its-own culture of sake brewing and the provincial culture of rural Japan.

Naguru Onna is another Wakui Emi series from the 90's that I think is worth watching. And, more recently, she was excellent as the ditzy but caring mother in Chiritotechin.

Yeah, I sorta felt the same way at times... What did you think of it overall?

The very end was really heart-wrenching, I thought.

Just finished episode 1 of Mr. Brain. So far, pretty good, a little special effect heavy, but the main character is amusing...still don't understand Hirosue Ryoko's appearance...looking forward to more.

Overall, it was a nice and sweet drama. The whole Orange Society part was a nice touch. I just did not have much patience watching some of the longer conversations but that's because of the nature of how they were carried out, I suppose. I loved the last ep. The rare times when Sae spoke, my heart just melted... Puppy Dog Eyes
