Man I loved "Yasashii Jikan"
I watched episode 9 of Kabachitare! at lunch.
http://www.jdorama.com/drama.470.htm
No subs past ep 2. Everyone talks so fast in this show that I figure I'm missing about 80% of the jokes and plot points.
But it's just so good, I can't stop watching. _________________ Manga is to Literature

LOL, then you should be able to finish the entire drama in less than 15 minutes...

I've never seen a Imai Miki drama with subs. But so far that's never stopped me. Lordy that's a beautiful woman.
Talking about shows without subs... I finished Kabachitare!
Man. Tokiwa Takako & Fukatsu Eri. Shinohara Ryoko as the snotty yet wildly sexy meter maid turned cop. Karina as the prettiest girl in school. And then when I didn't think life could get any better, in walks Kobayashi Satomi as the mega prim and proper lawyer.
This was a light, "girl power" story of two 28 year old women becoming best friends. But it's not one long serial. The two of them get involved in 8(?) different stories during the course of the 11 episodes. Fukatsu plays an advocate, and we follow the stories of the different people who hire her to solve their problems.
I'll be holding onto the raws for this for a long time, hoping someone accidentally subs it. Either that, or I accidentally learn how to speak Japanese. _________________ Manga is to Literature

Looks like someone softsubbed the first two episodes at D-Addicts and then abandoned the project... A drama viewer's worst nightmare.

Well, I want to watch the drama regardless. It's too bad the song was cut off though.

I think the drama Brand is available with subs. Can't remember if I have that or not. In addition to being beautiful, she has a pretty singing voice. She sang the theme songs to both dramas I mentioned. _________________

Brand is certainly available with subs. It is a favorite of mine.
It was subbed while everything was still being DLed on CDs.
I wasnt aware she was a singer too.
Watching the final ep. of Shiroi Haru. Broke out the box of kleenex first.

I finally finished the summer dramas I was watching.
Call Center no Koibito- What a load of crap. I think Koizumi Jr. (don't remember his name) is cute in a schoolboy sort of way (really dorky grin). Reminds me of a kid I tutor (age 11). But really, this show? You think with a title Call Center no KOIBITO it would be an actual romance.
Buzzer Beat- Load of crap. It had a "so bad it's good" quality that kept me watching for the first half but even that couldn't save it. The acting was horrible. The story was horrible. The writing was horrible. The outfits (those pink Basketball Barbie uniforms...)....Yamapi's hair...
Ninkyo Helper- Not bad but kind of a weird premise. I thought with the whole idea of yakuza being made to work at a nursing home it would be a comedy but it was played straight. Why though? Really bizarre.
Not a drama, but I watched the sequel to 20th Century Boys. Good but not as good as the first one. I can't wait until the last one is available with subs. _________________

Yeah, I remembered watching that drama when it aired on NGN. I don't remember liking it though.
@marspeach: I thought that Buzzer Beat & Ninkyo Helper were supposed to be good dramas. Or maybe just the fanboys/girls were praising it too much? _________________

Hi marspeach- good to see you.
Think Buzzer Beat is hilarious with those ghastly uniforms.
If you want to see a really good basketball drama check out Hot SHots. Its Tiawanese and totally rocked.
Just finished Shiroi Haru. Thank you, Beem.
And now Im off to wash my tear streaked face. I love Abe Hiroshi...... _________________
