OK...so The Swallowed Sun is on hold until more subs become available.

To fill in I started Satorare. At first it was really very silly. But after a while I started to get into the spirit of the story... hmm is this really a story? ... Well anyway, it's a very pleasant watch and will suffice to fill me in until I can get back to Sung Yuri... This is my first Tsuruta Mayu drama and she doesn't hurt the eyes either.... Naughty

I was surprised at how involving Satorare was. The plot was not up my alley. But Odagiri Joe had a definite charm while in character and I actually finished the series which I only do if I truly like it.

WAtched another enigmatic episode of Koi SHita/Tales Of Love

Ohitorisama ep 2. It's filled with your usual single, career-oriented women cliches. But it's Mizuki Arisa. Victory! Peace!

After pulling several all-nighters, I just managed to finish Nobuta wo Produce, Hana Kimi, and Kimi wa Petto. SO good! All of them. I love Yamapi! -points to signature- And Matsumuto Jun & Ikuta Toma, of course~ These Johnny boys can be so fun to watch. ^^

I've just started watching doramas again after a bit of a break due to spending the best part of a month in SE Asia, and then working my way through the backlog new US season shows that I missed once I got back.

I finished Majo Saiban, a typical cliche ridden mystery/thriller based around a murder trail. The protagonist runs everywhere, the main bad guy just grins and laughs manically, nothing makes very much sense and for some reason the police are never anywhere to be seen. The direction got rather tiresome with certain actions, mainly reaction shots, repeated about 10 times from different camera angles every 5 minutes or so. The ending however is fantastic, if a little rushed, and makes up for some of the preceding short comings.

First couple of eps of My Girl. It's just as I expected, you have your typical hardships faced by a single parent.

Agreed with you about Majo Saiban. The ending is the saving grace, as well as Ishida Yuriko. Smile

Hanayome to Papa ep. 5 & 6, still enjoying the drama.

With all these good Japanese dramas seen and yet to be seen, I may never go back to American Television...

^ If you haven't watched Boss, avoid at all cost. It's painful. And funny in a lame way.

Watching Soratobu Taiya, Fumo Chitai and JIN.
