I'm really really intrigued by what people are saying about this drama. I have it on queue, but then it's a very loooong queue. Anyway, when I finally get around to watching it -- sooner or later, but maybe sooner than later, it IS Tsumabuki Satoshi after all Naughty -- I hope it lives up to all the hype.
It's pretty good... Though it did sort of remind me of the movie Joze to Tora to Sakana Tachi... At least Satoshi's character did.
The very end of the drama really challenges you to not get choked up.

Hey beemer, you started on JIN yet? That's what I plan to watch next, once I get NINKYO HELPER outta my system. (Yes, I'm watching it all over again. )
I might start tonight, since I finally(!) finished hardsubbing the series over the weekend.... Thanks for asking.

Well, I've only watched 2 episodes, first one twice, just liked how they could jump right into the action, no real need to re-introduce the characters. you're right about Toda! Shota also is good, can't wait to check out Love Shuffle.
Shota, hehehe~ I remember that he is also very good in drama Love Shulffle, still cannot forget he and Yuriko in the drama!
Becides liar game, I like toda in Ryusei no kizuna very much~~Maybe the three siblings are so Ryo and Nino! _________________

The present-day part of the story is rather melodramatic... It's not until the lead steps, er, falls into the Wayback Machine that the drama becomes compelling: a modern-day doctor in Edo-Period Japan.
The medical stuff is not for the squeamish (me) and had me wincing constantly.

Finished JIN... Can we have JIN 2 now please?
Not the way I expected the drama to end, but I like it. Really interested to see where they go if JIN 2/Special ever happens. I know it's based on a manga, but screw it, ditch that and come up with your own storyline. It worked out well for Dexter.
I've only seen Osawa Takao in Crying Out Love... and thought he was ok in that, but really got to shine here. Haruka is Haruka, cute and adorable. Nakatani Miki = don't really need to say anything else about her. Nakatani was fantastic

Ningen no Shoumei ep8
i am just loving this drama more and more with each ep (but still hating the end theme passionately ). yui-chan and yutaka-kun had the most scenes together comparing to previous eps and i want this to continue in a good way
and i was reeeeeally impressed with Yutaka's English in this ep. very fast and no accent. well, almost
Naka nai to kimeta hi ep5
Jun Kaname VS Naohito Fujiki. i still can't make up my mind which one of them i want to win though.
bullies and abuse were much less than previous eps _________________

This is my favorite police drama after Odoru Daisassousen. The hardest part for me was adjusting to Ikeuchi Hiroyuki trying to play a black guy.

Futatsu no spica episode 1-5
This seemed like a kids' series at first. The cast is unexpectedly young, some of the dialogue can sound a bit naive and I cannot fully understand why the characters want to go to space that much. But aside from these misgivings, this is a very good series. Many of the scenes resonated with me and I can certainly identify with some of the internal struggles and personal doubts in pursuit of the dream/goal. I found myself immersed in the story with the characters and they all feel very genuine with sincere feelings and convictions. I enjoyed it.

YES, i could not understand who they can't not see his asian features and they had to be told that his mother was japanese so they have to believe it. it would have not made any difference if they used a mixed race actor instead of him specially when he did speak a word of japanaese. this way, his English would be more natural and believable. is not that they could not offord anymore non-japanese actors. _________________
