I really like Eriko Kitagawa's doramas too. I have watch most of it, and most of it are my favourites too. Even though I'm not very happy with Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, it couldn't bring out Ayase Haruka's full potential and Kame's acting was lacky as well..

Yeah, gotta agree that it doesn't really seem to be one of Eriko's best works (actually worst I've seen so far), but still kinda liking it.

Fuurin Kazan ep 15-17

I couldn't empathize with the emotions of most characters during the Suwa battle story arc. It just felt overly complicated and not very believeable (selective memory, naivety)... I also missed the battle of wits and exchange of ideas earlier in the series.

Finished Hotaru no Hikari, solid drama though that's about it. Good watch though there are better in the genre. Nut Really enjoyed Ayase in this, Victory! Peace! first drama I've seen her in though I recently watched Cyborg-She which she was also good in. Guess I would end up with about a 7.5/10, worth seeing. Applaud Unsure of the next one, leaning toward another Ayase one, Mr. Brain, all downloaded and set to go but I've been putting off Otousan for too long. Beat You

TodayLs a bank holiday Dancing and I found the time to check out Sunao ni Narenakute.

ILm already at episode 4 but unfortunately itLs not good at all Sweat Puppy Dog Eyes .

For a drama that so desperately wants to be young and trendy, it uses pretty old-fashioned cliched storylines. Even my mum would deem them boring:

Mr.Brain was a big let down for me.. even though it has such great actors and actresses and even great guests (for example Nakama Yukie), I just don't like how Takuya Kimura tried to act cool in this one. Also I was hoping for Mizushima Hiro to get a better role than just a stupid police that "tags along" and his only purpose is just to make Takuya's character looks smarter. While Ayase Haruka plays her usual "bakaish" character.
I have been actually putting off Otousan for long time too, watched 2 episodes and didn't think it was bad or boring or anything, but just started to watch some other dramas suddenly.

Mr Green oh absolutely but itLs a shame that they (or Kitagawa) failed to capture the real angst issues of young people.

OT: episode 5 tonight

If anything, what I don't like about the drama is that it's cluttered with subplots. Sweat

And someone over at D-Addicts pointed out that this storyline is recycled from a 1990's Kitagawa drama...

First 4 episodes of Mr. Brain, really enjoying it so far. Applaud Only 8 total episodes but the running time of them equals 10, first episode was 88 minutes. Can get a tad confusing at times, it's one drama where you can't afford to have your mind wander for a few seconds. Doh!

^^ Code Blue was good, second season was even better.

Wrapped up Mr. Brain, this one was one of the best I've seen in a while. Victory! Peace! Great acting by Takuya, lot of intense scenes, lot of action over the last few episodes, was hard to take my eyes off the screen, would recommend this to anyone. Applaud Give it a 9.5/10, -.5 for being a little confusing at times, Doh! after a rewatch or 2 may bump it up to a 10. Lot of big name guest stars, Gackt, Yukie, , many others, her role and storyline were quite good. w00t! Unsure of the next one, was leaning towards Majo Saiban, hadn't heard of it but looks interesting. Fingers crossed

Finished Tatta hitotsu no koi, gave it 8/10, really not too much new there or anything really great either, but it was enjoyable and that's enough for me. Started watching Chiipu rabu, honestly I think it's not all that brilliant, but it's pretty funny at times. Anyways it's been pretty enjoyable so far so I guess I like it Crazy .
