First couple of eps of Gakeppuchi no Eri . I didn't have much expectations going in and that was a good thing because this show is terrible. Sweat Makes Mioka seem like a masterpiece. Beaten

I watched one episode of Gakeppuchi no Eri and that was enough for me...

Since the subs for the Shinzanmono finale aren't out, I watched Joker Yurusarezaru Sosakan online. Was actually decent, even with Ryo in it (and you know which Ryo I'm talking about since both are in it....) Beaten

First 2 episodes of Ningen no Shoumei, all I have to say is WOW, Victory! Peace! this has so far been quite a drama so far, hope it remains this way, hard to believe how many subplots are in it, need a scorecard to keep track. Nut

Well, I downloaded both episodes at once, but two were enough for me to decide not to continue watching.

Finished Kirakira Kenshui and finished Ueno Juri to Isatsuno Kaban. Also finished Churasan with my sister and we're now halfway done the second season.

I think I'll start on Primadam...

Final episode, Shinzanmono

Pretty much forgettable except for a few episodes. But I'll still watch anything with Abe in it. Big Grin

Now that the subs are out for the final episode, I can finally(!) finish this drama. Sweat

Holy crap. Has anyone watched Zeni Geba? I don't usually watch such dark dramas but this one just drew me in. I have one more episode to go before the finale and I'm anxious to see how it will all end (though I know it can't end well XD).

Even though I'd seen the Death Note movies, I didn't really see Matsuyama Kenichi's appeal until now, but now my eyes have been opened. He's so young yet versatile.

Mimura also delivers as usual. She's officially one of my favorite actresses now. Matsuken and Mimura have this crazy hot chemistry even though it's so wrong. Totally chilling performances from both. I have to say, one of my favorite scenes that will surely go down in "most memorable scenes in Jdrama history" occurs at the climax.

On another note...also looking forward to the next Unubore Deka. Toda Erika! w00t! [/b]

Never heard of Zeni Gaba, I like a lot of those darker ones. Naughty
Finished up Ningen no Shoumei fairly quick, it was that good, Applaud probably had more scenes actually filmed in America than any other drama. Good crime mystery drama, not quite a 10, wrapped up too nicely but still worth rewatching. Victory! Peace! I like these darker crime/mystery dramas like this one, Sora, Triangle, Byakuyakou, any other good ones out there in that vein? Mr Green

I started Ningen no Shomei but Ikeuchi Hiroyuki in blackface kinda threw me off. I mean seriously, why couldn't they find a decent black actor to play the part more genuinely? But that aside, I plan on giving it another shot because I've heard good things about it. Also, Gegege's wife making out with some guy in a club bathroom? Yes, please!

Finished Zeni Geba. Wow. Just wow. I love it when shows blindside viewers like that. It was bittersweet but a very satisfying closing.

I think it's safe to say Zeni Geba is even darker than Byakuyakou. For one thing, the main character is craaaaazy. No redeeming qualities about him whatsoever, yet you just can't hate him. So underrated and highly recommended!

You're right about him playing the black man Johnny Hayward, they had a bunch of other American actors in it, don't know why they couldn't find one to play that part. bleh Still, it was a good crime drama, I would give it another shot. Victory! Peace!

From what I've read and the clips I've seen, Movie 2 is a fitting end to the Nodame canon. Victory! Peace!

Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku episode 2

The characters are not very interesting but it's light-hearted and enjoyable if not expecting too much. Will keep watching for Yuko.

Based on your comments, just started watching it, Matsuyama is great!! Cannot believe this is the same guy that played the total geek in Sexy Voice and Robo!!

Plus, you've got a great cast, Mimura, Ryo, Shiina Keppei. Applaud
