I'm three episodes into Joker: Yurusarezaru Sosakan

http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Joker_Yurusarezaru_Sosakan

So far... so good. But this show is really going to turn on its writing.

Sakai Masato plays a thoughtful, intelligent, unassuming police inspector, dedicated to solving crimes. He doesn't yell, he doesn't shout, he doesn't break the rules...

Unless of course the justice system lets him down. And then he becomes a one man vigilante squad. Or as they put it... a Hero of Justice. (That's not a spoiler. That's the plot of the show.)

Anyway... Sakai is wonderful in the part. And he's surrounded by some really talented actors and actresses. So the episodes are moving along very nicely... thank you very much.

But this one seems to be going somewhere. I get the feeling it has a point to make. So this one's gonna be all about the follow through.

Fingers crossed.

Started to watch Hagetaka, which is particularly interesting since I am currently on a two week refresher course on financial markets. It's well done but doesn't entirely understand asset strippers and the undercurrents of the financial systems.

Just finnish Shinzanmono by Abe Hiroshi...well not sure whether is a good or bad drama..Is a detective drama where normally u will see there are few cases to be solved but this one from beginning to the last epi only appear to have one case only.. Head Scratch But i enjoy it though and Kuroki Meisa looks very beautiful...and last i think they can come out with Shinzanmono 2 in future... Mr Green

Finally got around to finishing Mioka. Yuriko was cute throughout, but the show itself was really dull. Sweat

Just finished Shiroi Haru after long break at episode 2 and right now I just feel like to scream: "aaaaahhhhhhhhhh". At first it seemed somewhat boring, I watched it because of Abe Hiroshi anyway. I read about people saying about good story development and such but I didn't believe in that story. Until I got to the point that I couldn't stop to continue watching anymore, that's when I realize the story development in this is a real masterpiece. Abe Hiroshi's excellent acting already makes me want to cry. He really is the coolest man in the world.
I dont know what to say about the ending though, just feel like screaming: "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

SPEC. Seems pretty interesting so far. I want to say Toda Erika is good, but I can't help but to think another actress like Kanno Miho or Ueno Juri would have fit the role better and brought a different layer to it... I guess it's still early to pass judgment so I'll give Erika a chance, but it's hard not to compare her to Nakatani Miki from Keizoku 1 and that's a pretty hard actress to beat. XD

Katase Ryo is awesome. Very cool and bad ass. Shirota Yu's shady ex-bf character has perked my interest too.

^ Cool! I am currently downloading it - will watch it tonight. Mr Green

Started Moteki and it's really really great. I didn't like the first episode at all but after that it got just brilliant. It's very good at describing (and making fun of) relationships between men and women.

Finished Moteki - BEST soundtrack ever in a drama! Finally a drama with music for us indie kids! Great show as well.

Keizoku SPEC episode one was great too. Ok the special effects are a bit 1999 (Matrix) but the angle taken is surprising. I agree with strawberryfzz, Toda is the weakest link but she has 2 great moments
