Just started watching Nasake no Onna. Yonekura Ryoko is oddly charming as the yankee-ish, tax investigator who came to Tokyo from the countryside. Smile

Finished Juui Dolittle. I enjoyed it. It is probably quite standard and cliche at times, but most of the human stories were engaging. Inoue Mao was really good in this even though her character didn't have much story.

I've been watching a korean drama "My Fair Lady" aka "Take care of the young lady" - quite enjoyable so far.

Alrighty, after our binge on Korean dramas, my sister and I have started with Japanese. So far we've seen:

- Trick
- Trick 2
- Trick 3
- Both Trick movies and specials
- Shomuni
- Shomuni 2
- Shomuni 3
- Shomuni SP
- Kuitan
- Kuitan SP

And we're not on the fourth episode of Kuitan 4. Of course, I've seen all of the above already, but my sister's watching them for the first time. She really enjoyed Trick and absolutely loved Shomuni. She likes Kuitan... but I think she's looking forward to rewatching Last Christmas more, which we're watching next.

Finished up Guilty.

Pretty good, but predictable throughout most of the drama. Solid performances by Kanno and Tamaki.... Applaud

Hitotsu yane no shita, episode 6, now this is what more dramas should be like, it is fabulous. Victory! Peace! Funny, sad, mega storylines, great acting, old Jpop, it's got it all. w00t! Only half thru it but I can easily see this ending up in my top 5, it really is that good. Applaud Oldest drama I've seen, from 1993, gonna take a few more chances on some older ones, just downloaded Homework and about to grab Double Kitchen. Mr Green

Just a heads up, if you've never seen Tomoko Yamaguchi before, prepare to be knocked off your feet! You'll probably want to see Long Vacation after that:http://www.jdorama.com/drama.239.htm

I've never seen her in anything though often see her face on the home page. Looks like she for the most part retired after Long Vacation, only one drama after that. Puppy Dog Eyes Looks like a few of her dramas are interesting, also after checking out Long Vacation that'll be put on the list. Applaud

^^ Better than Long Vacation? Sigh, it's gonna take all of next year to go thru my have to watch list now. hehe

Finished Hitotsu yane no shita, hard to describe it but it certainly moved into my top 5, w00t! perhaps after a few rewatches it'll move up a few notches. Thought Heaven's Coins had mega subplots, but wow you needed to have a scorecard to keep track of these, Nut but it was never confusing though...highly recommend this.
Next few will be from the same era, after the new year will be starting on Homework, Double Kitchen and the few that were recommended above. Applaud
