ya I saw GTO too at school XD (Sorimachi Takashi) is awesome I even heard he married the lead actress too

hmm as for what I like I guess something close to GTO or Densha Otoko

I like to something that can make me laugh till I cry and cry cuz I feel for the character too so I guess comedy romance? a bit of action here and there can be nice too^^

thanks alot^^

The school drama genre has plenty of choices, ones that come to mind are:

Dragonzakura
Gokusen

and some with a school background but focus on the students' activities, not teacher-student relationship:

Nobuta wo Produce
Ganbatte Ikemasshoi
Waterboys (1 and 2)

I'm sure I've missed plenty of other but the above are good starting points.

Just finished Ace wo nerae!

I usually judge how bored I am with a series by how much I use the fast forward button. With this one I seem to have gone a bit further. I've caught myself reading books while the shows played.

Oh well, since I downloaded it I'm not out any money (unless you count the discs I burned it on.)

Truth to tell, I'm probably just too old and cranky for this sort of series.

I'm also watching Kuitan as it gets up loaded and subbed. Not much depth and nothing I'd want to watch a second time. But it's cute, and fun, and I like gimmick detective stories.

I love Kuitan's golden chop sticks.

Makes me wonder if this is what Nero Wolfe was like before he became fat and housebound.

Once again Thanks alot^^

(wow the Jdrama community is soo much nicer than what I thought it would be/ my anime community is like ZOMG you betrayed us for real people how could you!! but =P meh both are nice^^)

oh btw I've notice that alot of the Jdrama I dl are actually raw but there are some .srt files that come with it or something

does anyone know what to do with this?

(sorry I'm used to anime where the sub are incorperated with the show in .avi so I'm clueless to do with the .srt is there a speical player I needa use to watch it? [I saw Densha Otoko from a subber that does anime so it was luckily sub incorperated with the anime])

Thanks again for all the help you guys gave^^

Glad you like it here. Smile

srt files are subtitles. IIRC, you need something call Directvobsub to display them. They just need to be name the same thing as you movie file: i.e.: my_movie.avi, my_movie.srt and you should be able to see them in most movie players.

Victory! Peace!
