I was able to download Pimsleur's Japanese off a bit torrent site. It's a big file because it contains 30 or so mp3 files of lessons. i just want to share this in case anybody here doesn't know that it's available for downloading at suprnova.org

I've tried to get to the site you mentioned, but it doesn't seem to exist. Is the URL correct?

Ok , I'm new here and I would like to share .
This is what I have downloaded from suprnova few months ago .
This files are rare I guess and I would like to reshare .

--------
I HAVE
--------

1) Pimsleur Japanese 1 = 1gb
2) Pimsleur Japanese 2 = 1gb
3) Pimsleur Japanese 3 = 1gb
4) Japanese Basic Audio Files
5) Japanese Spoken

*Note : All above are audio files . In .mp3 format .

But the bad thing is that my upload speed is quite low which is 10kb/s .
So , if you guys/girls really want it , I have one idea .

First , I will pass it to someone in this jdrama forum that can share it via bittorrent . Then all of you can download it from bt .

I will send the files one by one to the user and he will seed it .

If you all want it , please reply . If not I'm not gonna share this . And if you all really want , please find someone that can seed this file via bt . Thanx .

See: http://www.simonsays.com/subs/category.cfm?areaid=128&ctgyid=110

If you search suprnova etc., you can find them easily enough.

It's OK supplementary material, but I think you need to go to class to get the basic of grammar etc., from native Japanese speaker. If you know the basics, then level3 Pimsleur is OK, but slow. If you are beginner I think going to class is *much* better if possible ...

I'm new here, but i got the impression that some were interested in the courses. Pimsleur Level 1, 2 and (soon) 3.

Info Site: http://www.theatomicass.org/LearnJapanese.html
Forum: http://www.theatomicass.org/cgi-bin/YaBB.cgi
BTlinks: http://danomac.no-ip.com/lj

They are available in Ogg Vorbis and mp3 format. The Ogg version is only 115mb and the mp3 version is 440mb. Quite small compared to the 700mb mp3 version thats floating around other places Smile.
It's small but quality is very good.

You need a bittorrent client to get it though. I recommend Azureus
http://azureus.sourceforge.net (available for Windows/Linux/Mac)

edit: updated info

there's like 2 version of these floating on the net. One is the mp3 version i think which is like 1gb per lesson (can be found in supernova) and the other is the ogg variety (135mb per lesson, got mine off anime.mircx.com).

I'm currently on part 3 of the first lesson...
Watashi wa nihongo ga sukoshi wakarimas.
Demo mada jouzu ja arimasen...

hehehe

If this is the Azureus BT client, you'll also need the java add-on. Ask dorama member arnel98. Actually this is a thread about learning JPNese so you should have posted to the right place for someone to help you.
