I'm sure Azumi is definitely better than Princess Blade! Princess Blade sucked but the actress Yumiko Shaku didn't. *views latest Yumiko scans* Woot!?! She's in sexy negligee hehe

Expect to have a lot of good fightin scenes and chereography in Azumi!
As well as the camera angles! Ryohei Kitamura behind the movie, hehe! If you've seen Versus, you know what I'm talking about Wink
Is Aya up to the task? We have to wait and see. Speakin of "wait&see", hehe!

*listenin to Hikki - Wait&See*

I'm pretty sure that the swords play in Azumi will be good because it's made by Ryuhei Kitamura, the same director who made Versus and Alive.
Azumi and her friends ( I think it'll be 7 or ten of them? Rolling eyes ) will battle the evil guys. Can't wait to see in in Nov on DVD - I've pre-ordered it from cdjapan last month. Mr Green

Just watched it last night and there are a lot of action scenes.
The actress is pretty cute as well but story seems to be a bit open-ended though.

Had to get another version of the subs since the one i got for disc2 is messed up.

The story would be open ended because it was bassed on a 27 book manga with the same name by koyama yuu (maybe oyama, the kanji are R䂤). I've only read the first 3 book, didnt hve time to read anymore while I was in Japan and didnt hve the money or space to bring 27 of them home with me...
I thought Azumi was a pretty good movie tho, much better than Princess Blade. I saw it this summer in japan and preordered the special edition DVD once it was avaible. Smile Im also an obsessive Ueto Aya fan though...

There also was a version of Azumi posted on Womby's tracker and still has seeds:

Hehe! A friend of mine is also a huge Ueto fan. He's really into her.
I'm not and never will.

The Limited Edition version is worth for collection...a very good packaging, I'm amazed. As for the movie...wow! It's a great one..lots of fighting scene. Since this is Kitamura Ryuhei movie, he did not forget to include Sakaki Hideo (versus, alive) to be in it..oh..and special little appearance of Ryo Smile

Ehm...I think the movie is more than just slashing people around because I was kind of feel sad watching it....well for those who've seen it, perhaps you know what I mean.

Btw, I also feel the air of some "Gokusen"'s cast reunion Mr Green

The good old hack&slash movie where a story is totally left outside, hehe.
I wonder if they pile up the corpses, how tall will it be? Beaten
