i like movies where the girls dont get the guys, and where the theme mostly relies on brotherly love and the guys always look out for each other and always stick 2gether . I LOVE BROTHERLY LOVE (especially amongst sexy men). i hate stupid girls, they ruin almost every film i see . and i hate love stories.
any films in mind???

All can think of is Shall We Dance? (not the US one) now. Can't remember the others.

I just saw "2LDK" and it was a blast.
For anyone with a taste for black comedies this thing will have you on the edge of your seat.
Take two stressed out young actresses who already dislike one another, have them audition for the same part, let them know that this is pretty much make it or break it time for their careers, and then send them home to the luxury condo they share to wait for the director's phone call in the morning.
The fight scene between these two young ingenues (which takes up about 40 minutes of this 70 minute movie) is probably the most memorable movie fight scene since the John Wayne vs. Victor McLaglen brawl in "The Quiet Man."

Anyone besides myself and Geezer who knows of the Quiet Man please stand on their head...
40 minutes??? Yow. Heavy duty.
Is hot oil or jello or any other slimy liquid involved in the fight scene??

Peg,
I didn't say the fight scene was all I could remember. Just that these were two great fight scenes.
Re: Victor ready for a fight... I guess you could say that. He was, after all, the Heavy Weight Champ of Ireland and was a legit contender for the World Heavy Weight Championship before he became an actor.
On the I SHOULD'A KNOWN front:
Because I was so impressed with "2LDK" I went in search of some other movies or shows directed by Tsutumi, and wouldn't you know it? He not only directed the "Keizoku" Theatrical release "Beautiful Dreamer", but he also directed "Trick".
I think I'm gonna have to add this guys name to my list of all time favorite directors.
Radio no Jikan (Welcome Back, Mr. McDonald) is a comedy I would recommend. It was written and directed by Koki Mitani who has written a number of dorama, including the current Shinsengumi !. The film is in the style of 1930's screwball comedies with witty dialog and increasingly preposterous dilemmas that characters either created or have to overcome.

Yukihiko Tsutsumi's 2LDK played alongside Ryuhei Kitamura's (yes, THAT "Ryuhei Kitamura" of Versus and of Godzilla: Final Wars fame) Aragami, (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0362417/, http://www.asianfilms.org/japan/aragami.html) which is about SPOILER AHEAD two samurai (played by Takao Osawa and Masaya Kato) in a duel to the death. One of the samurai turns out to be tengu, or something like that.
Both directors agreed to create both films as part of their "Duel" project; the more popular "duel to the death" film would have the losing director bolo their hair or something like that.
I think Tsutsumi won.

Ah, yes. Ya'll's should also see Koki Mitani's All About Our House. Really nice, comforting, comedy-drama that a lot of other filmmakers seem to have forgotten how to make.

Sorry, bathtub gets involved, but not in any real fanservice kind of way. It's still a pretty amusing film. Some of the weapons are oddly convenient, but you don't gripe about it and just accept and go along for the ride. I liked both Duel project films, but I think 2LDK edged out Aragami.
