Takeuchi Yuko is an incredible actress, and I've really come to like all her dramatic characters. Her most recent drama, Pride, really pulled me in. I thought the story was a bit predictable, but she definitely shined throughout. If she is a "girl from the past", I think I need a time machine to go meet more girls like her!

Dude I'm liking watch Mukodono now and this girl is soooooo cute! She's not like drop dead HAWT or anything but there's this thing about her that makes me want to go hug her and never let go until Aya finds out. Anyways she's great! She really reminds me of Matsu Takako but I personally think Yuko has a sweeter look Anyways we need more pics of Yuko-chan!

Yup, she's SOOOO cute in Mukodono. The whole family of girls was pretty hot actually. From what I've seen, she's a great actress as well. I need to find more dramas of her.

hah, I've just been recently watching Pride and I saw Takeuchi Yuko for the first time and she's already one of the cutest actresses IMO, and I was waiting for someone to start a thread about her. So it's no surprise when someone finally did. I hear she's also one of the most popular actresses in Japan at the moment too. They recently took this poll in a train station about their favorite entertainers, and Takeuchi Yuko came up as no.1 for females!
Though IMO, she looks more like Korean jpop singer BoA than anyone else. When I was watching Pride I realized she looks a lot like BoA. But maybe that's just me.

She is also my fav actress. 1st drama that I watched was Gakko no Sensei , followed by Mukodo & Lunch Queen. As a girl, I think she is pretty & cute! Her acting skill is good too. Cant wait till her next drama.

I always had an impression that once actresses reaches thirty, their careers start to skid. I hope not in Nanako Matsushima's case.
I think that I have mistaken Yuko Takeuchi for being Nanako in several Japanese commercials that I saw before I watched pride. I also have to admit that I have been looking for movies that also has Yuko in it. I just saw her recently in Nanisama!

Yeah when the first time I saw her in Hyakunen no Monogatari, I thought she was Nanako too. Then I realised she's so much different than Nanako. She's better in acting (I've got to admit this although I'm also one of Nanako avid fans ), she has a very sweet and demure look (sorta reminds me of Korean actress Choi Ji-Woo who is also one of fav), and I just love for being herself. I've had watched and bought most of her recent dramas such as Pride, Lunch no Joo, Gakko no Sensei juz because of her (Frankly I never liked any of her co-stars - yeah including Kimutaku ). And by now I'm still searching for her movies (J-Movies are rather hard to find at my place ) and hope can find those soon n can't wait to watch both Nanako n Yuko's performances in their new doramas..
