Definitely! Kaneshiro Takeshi needs more drama roles or movie roles, just because he is a half, doesn't mean he should get half the attention, . Plus I think he is a better looking (and more Japanese-looking) than most Japanese actors, not to mention acting skills.

Fukuda Kyoko, aka Fatty, is definitely getting wayyyy too much attention. She's hogging all the spot light for muuuccch better actresses such as Yonekura Ryoko (backme up BMWRacer!), Fukatsu Eri (anyone?), Matsu Takako, just to name a few. (well, to give her a break, at least she is better than Fukiwara Norika, her acting that is, by a tiny bit; but she beats Fukiwara in the annoying department).

I don't really think that he gets half the attention.. is just maybe he is not having producing more dorama.. but definitely he gets all the attention from fans.. he is very popular.

i do agree that norika isn't that good...

Isn't Kaneshiro based out of Taiwan? That's gotta take a toll on his Japanese work.

Yeah, the fact that Kaneshiro is based in Taiwan is probably the reason why he isn't getting big roles. But he's getting HUGE movie offers. Quite a successful guy already, don't you think?

Wrong again guys..!! Takeshi is not underrated at all. He is picky in choosing roles in dramas as well as movies. Judging from his filmography, he is not looking for an average role, more to things that challenge him. That's why he's not in a big lime light and besides he is very low profile.
Takeshi has finished filiming a BIG MOVIE with Zhang Yi Mou as the director (the one that made HERO), and He is also being considered to star in a movie based on Manga "Captain Harlock".. I hope he's willing to accept the offer. So I think Kaneshiro is not underrated at all.

wow...for once i actualy agree with Akakage...who would've tought? ..plus h's the first actor ever to star in a video game (but that doesn't count) he took the role because it was something different =)
