so far we have two ideas:

1) traders above 12 positives and no negatives become power traders
2) the existing trading community subjectively nominate other traders when they feel they've become part of the power trader group

both have pluses and minuses

1) positive: easier to implement because there's a tangible unit of measure
negative: may allow a person to quickly reach power trader status then burn the next people (example being onizuka from like 4-5 years ago)
2) positive: the community is the one making the choice to place someone in a "power trader" position
negative: it may be more difficult to implement (too many cooks in the kitchen)

anyways, i'm leaning toward #2 because, after all, you're the ones who use this thread. so if you all feel that someone should be a power trader, i trust your judgement.

One of my closest friends I met 5 years ago through trading on this thread. She is a regular houseguest even though she is not a poster.
Hanashimi has come to stay too. And Ive met some other great folks from my internet travels.

well, it looks like there's only about 5 people who frequent this thread on a very regular basis, so i'll ask you guys. who should be promoted to power trader? once we have our nominations, we won't vote, persay, but we'll see if there are any 'nay' votes against those nominated. once that's been figured out, we have our power trader group.

Not me. I've been doing a horrible job of trading recently. I still haven't had the chance to complete certain trades because of complications too. I eventually want to get into the trading scene again, but right now, I just don't have any time.

Yeah, I am new to trading and I don't think I will do many more since I got most of what I was looking for. Still open for trade but I don't think I qualify for a power trader. In fact, most of what I have were sent to me for nothing/little in return.

so i guess the new power trader section will have the following people:

Hanashimi
Wynter
Eve
Marspeach

which is the list i sorta came out with from the point system. i guess the community agrees with the reviews.

just want one more confirmation before i edit the first post. also, if you ever have someone you think should be a power trader, nominate them and we'll get everyone's input again.

alright, the OP has been edited to reflect our power traders. those folks no longer need a numerical grading, as the name POWER TRADER already tells you that they are worthy of trading with.
