ohayo gozaimasu! looks like you have struck gold, liza! Haha to be honest, most of my fanstuff comes from that site too Smile The people who set up those sites are from this forum mainly: http://z10.invisionfree.com/prettyboys/index.php?act=idx

umm as for the performances, i think i uploaded most of them here: http://community.livejournal.com/news_jpop/523559.htm

try getting from there and tell me what you're short of Wink

hi jess. how are you? you sure have a lot of stuff uploaded/downloaded, huh?

i went to the performances section of (WHO ELSE?) Shige's page, and i cannot open some of the stuff in there. it's either that my computer cannot 'support the format' whatever that means or that it opens but it sort of gets stuck.

but i did manage to download the interview thingy that he did in the studio, and the TOUCH album medley as well (why were they wearing such funny outfits), but I was quite sad that the OVER performance with Tegoshi was 'out-of-order' so to speak. the date thingy was unable to be opened too. so that was rather a disappointment. arigatou was also another problem for me, something about the document either being corrupted or not supported etc.

i really must learn more about these things so i won't have to ask such silly questions again. Bonk

No... not empty ones. a DVD of any artist usually costs 7000-9000Yen if i'm not mistaken

Nino = C-U-T-E, i don't often call guys cute you know... i think he's the only guy i've called cute... the hair is totally funny.

Hmm.. so do i go looking at the post-your-pic thread now?

Nino's cute in the childish way Wink So what's kusa?

define FRUITY BOY.

By the way, not into yoong, although he is the Malaysian face in F1... and besides i don't think he is what you might term as a "fruity boy". We do have some nice looking male actors & models, though from all races : Malays, Chinese, Indians, and all other races. Oh yeah, and we do have a hot fashion designer DATUK Bernard Chandran.....aaaahhhh...now THAT is one sexy MAN.

From NEWS, i'm more "into" Shige. (like as if you didn't know). Sorry, can't help it. If you're talking about the 'boys' as in ALL OF THEM, wel, i guess i do like them their team-ness. i like that they managed to pull together even if they differ in popularity levels. and yes, I ADMIT, that i respect YAMAPI in the sense that he is willing to share the limelight with 7 other guys when he could've easily just been THE solo star given half the chance by JE.

Oh yeah, Jess, about Singapore's Korean wave, Malaysia has that too...and showing absolutely no signs of fading. I think we've had WINTER SONATA here three times already....some of our local movies don't get even once on national tv.

Sighh seems like the korean wave's everywhere!! but heh seriously, those kdramas are still way better than local dramas here. but hmpf IMO jdramas are the best still!! I want the jwave back!!! i bet pple will get bored of the cliche plot of kdramas soon Darn why do i always get into things when they kind of dieded down.

better fruity boy than looney tunes!

why shige? don't know. breath-takingly good looking, intelligent, can be idiotically funny in his j-web, hopelessly lost at times but damn handsome. i don't know. successful, confident guys are sexy, but so are smart guys. and shige's smart. and he's funny (i already said that). his j-web makes him seem 'real', y'know? not some superstar but just 'him'.

dunno. i like koyama's j-web too. but somehow i find shige's funnier.

i don't mind korean drama so much, it's good for those moments when you're alone on a Saturday afternoon. it's a lot of romance : a lot of heart -wrenching episodes with dramatic sound effect. Sometimes remind me of Hindustani movies (which i do not watch) : someone must die/suffer/separated/be unfaithful, ETC. and there will be 4 people : hero, heroine, guy interested in heroine and bitch interested in hero. and oh yeah, there's family....there's always faithfulness to family. filial. never talk back to your parents. never say no to your parents. (well, i am older...so maybe that's pretty logical to me too).

Kim Sam Soon was not too bad.....and stained glass / yurihwa had pretty good OST.

haha i always read that shige's the smartest in NEWS. What university is he in now?? I only know tegoshi's in one of the top 5 unis in japan.

Hehe i don't really see shige as a confident person though, he minds others' comments quite alot (especially ryo-chan's when he attacks shige. oh well i guess that's why ryochan likes to pick on shige too) but got to admit he looks quite good in specs.

you know what's shige doing recently? After his recent drama in which he played the lead (which i haven't watched yet because i can't find the subbed version!!), as far as i know i don't think he has anything major going on now..

kim sam soon? Lol don't remind me, my dad and my brother have been doing the kim sam soon dance ever since the drama was broadcasted over here Bang Head I enjoyed jewel in the palace, and that's basically the only one i really liked among the many kdramas i have watched so far.

oh yeah Bang Head how could i miss your avatar?! Sighh i'm wondering when jdramas can re-enter our media, it has been kdramas and kdramas so much that i'm sick of the overly-cliche and melodramatic stuff already. Yup, like you i have been influenced by my really small group of jpop/jdrama fans which led me into this japanese craze Wink

hmm.. private hearts and arigatou no ima.. What do you mean by that? Do you want the mp3s or video clips? If it's video clips do you mean shounen club performances or their concerts? Smile I think i have all of those Smile

yup, before this i was pretty obsessed with kdramas too, budden they sort of got boring after awhile, always the same.. different from jdoramas, cos the themes are always different n stuff are more unpredictable.. hee^^

oh i wan the mp3, hee.. oh i've been dl-ing so many of their variety shows, tt i exceeded the limit.. haha, so hav to take it slow.. =p

Jess, first things first : you liked JEWEL IN THE PALACE? wow. i didn't really go for it, but i heard a lot of people found it good. oh yeah, if you're talking bout dances, don't fret. You're lucky your family ain't doing the bear song&dance featured in Full House. now, THAT one, you might faint from laughing.

nyways, what i actually meant was that (i) confident men are sexy, but (ii) although shige's not confident, he's still sexy. rofl

y'know, a treasured friend sent me a clipped version of shige's performance in early 2006, and welll......he seemed more confident. so let's hope that he's gonna be more confident in 2007.

Currently he is attending Aoyama University studying law. His favourite activity in school was MATHS CLUB, and that his favourite subjects include government and science. His ambition was supposed to be a scientist or a politician.

I'm afraid that i haven't got the full details of his latest major projects, etc. ashamed Pout . i am heavily dependent upon this thread, as well as several others - but from what i have read so far, there's not been a major shoot going on....

haha.. yup! jewel in the palace is the only kdrama so far that kept me hooked. Smile It may be a little draggy in the middle but still, it's a drama that's worth watching and really addictive. Try it liza! As i mentioned earlier to monty, the only bad thing is there's no eyecandy hehe

OMG thanks! i must keep full house far far away from my family, or else they start some bear worshipping cult and i'm gonna Bang Head

lol.. basically you're just saying: shige's sexy yeah? Coughs i have no comments for that one Bonk My choice will always be the sexy osaka man (like you don't know) though.

Hehe.. how expected of Shige to join Maths club and likes Science. He's such a good hardworking student ne? Lol i know ryo hates science alright and his favourite class is home economics? Smile Yay he can cook and draw well though ^^
