Minna minna!!! I discovered this good news while browsing around a chinese bbs.... oh, but since I don't understand Japanese, if someone here can confirm for me it would be great!! I don't want to give out fake hopes
I think Nino will be involved in a TBS SP that will be aired in March!! Right now they are looking for extras to film the drama (see link below) I saw his name mentioned, so I sure hope that means he is part of the cast!

if i remember correctly, the VCD version of their prior concerts were released for overseas fans, the reason for the vcd to be an overseas version.
if its an vcd, im pretty sure its an illegal copy.
also for the dvd,ive seen many fake dvds.
i think, j-storm made legal copies of concert dvds, in taiwan, and maybe singapore, but not anywhere else.
the problem about the japanese artists is that...........okay, well, they might be a little of a stuck up. sorry to say this, but if arashi had significant popularity in US, the jimusho might jump on to the business chance. but for the asian countries (except korea) i dont think they will actually bother making a big fuss about it.
its partly because of how much money they might get out of the business, and japanese tend to.......not care about other southeast asian countries.
for them, its probably like......oh so they have popularity? so what? lol
ive also heard arashi themselves say that they will rather become more popular in japan, even through they realize they do have fans overseas.
i'm just curious...does this only apply to southeast asian countries? i wonder...
i hope when they hold (or schedule) concerts (or whatever they may call it) for their JE artists in Thailand, i hope they do realize Thailand IS a SEA country.
perhaps i'm not in the position to say this but yeah, maybe Japanese artists tend to "love their own". we can't do anything about it now, can we? _________________

i think that it really applies to like the rest of the world.. besides the few where they do have popularity and do concerts and such... whether or not they have a big fan base in the US, say, doesnt really matter to them, does it? i mean excluding hawaii- they always go to hawaii to do stuff, but... like the rest of the US and the rest of the world... including southeast asian countries..... like if say, a lot of people in france were into JE music, i dont think that they're go to france to have a concert... i guess thats just how it is... cant do anything about it..
its basically whatever the heck johnny wants to do. he has all this power, he COULD go around to other places where his groups are popular, but he WANTS to be exclusive... and i guess we just cant do much about it. grrr johnny
ok maybe a random post... heh.
btw zaizaiaddict i loooove ur new aviiii!!!!!!! (sorry OT hehe) _________________

wow! good for you! 20 badges! that's a lot! hahaha! i wanna see! can you take pics of the badges?! thanks for giving out the address, will definitely go there when i go visit singapore
awwwww....how about sembawang? they dont sell japanese dvd's?! but you're still lucky! because you have access to every issue of their mags!
Yep yep! Alot! I was so happy all the way back home because of that... Now my friends think i'm sort of crazy I'll post the pic of those badges here as soon as i get home from school
I'm making another batch of 20 I'm very willing to share it with anyone who's in singapore (:
Another address for Arashi lovers who are in Singapore:
>> Mise-Sxclusive, #05-13, The Heeren shop (u know where that is lol)
http://www.mise-sxclusive.net
They sell all kinds of J-pop/rock (mostly pop from wat i've seen) there. Pamphlets, photos, cd-case, uchiwa, original posters, photobooks, mobile strap, magz...all sorts of stuff. U can go straight to the shop and scope stuff that were released recently, like MatsuJun's East of Eden butai pamphlet, Aiba's pamphlet, One concert official pamphlet (i've bought that one, it's so worth it man!), photos. But normally they do more online ordering. Okay enough for advertising, go see urself LOL
I went to sembawang, but they only have some cds left there. I saw their debut single (which is not available in HMV) but didn't buy... coz no money... *cries*
ABout the magazines, technically speaking, yes, they have all kinds of j-pop magazines in singapore... But in fact... u know somehow, by the time i get there (i mean kinokuniya), there's nothing much left... *continue crying*
Regarding the overseas fan vs. japanese fans topic: I'm definitely going to Japan right after i finish school!
hey guyz! it looks like the whole thing about JE boys not touring around the world/anywhere besides japan is irking ppl. well...idk, i think its kinda unfair too but the boys are busy enough in japan. well, hope everyone could go to japan or something and see arashi's concert atleast once because its worth it. i went from hawaii to japan to just go see a arashi concert (at first, i thought it wouldnt be worth it) but it definetely was. a lot of ppl cried at the end because it was so good. i really enjoyed it! and even if u dont have a good seat, they have the moving stages and stages made by a lot of the audience so u are able to see all the members up pretty close. last time, i was on the very top row and thought "god, this is a crapy seat" but when the concert started, Nino came out of the back door (by where i was sitting) so they move around a lot. hope no one starts hating JE boys b/c they dont tour around the world. its not there fault, its the JE's. I'm sure the arashi boys wanna travel around the world and meet all of their fans _________________

shanghaigal,
they do sell vcd versions of their concerts. and its not an illegal copy. wow! you saw fake dvd's of their concerts?! surreal!
i bought my iza now VCD from yesasia.com but the packaging is like that of a dvd! hehehe and its labelled as overseas version and not to be purchased by those in japan
as for the dvd version, its usually called the japan version. i think only dvd's are sold in japan?
here are the links to the VCD VERSIONS if you're interested
yamaP_007,
ey no problem! i prefer to order overseas ver because its way way cheaper than the japan ver! hahaha! but if i have no choice but to order the japan ver, i go to cdjapan.co.jp hehehehe

hi!
i just wanted to know what do all the alphabet letters in Arashi's show "D no arashi", "G no arashi" etc mean????
i've watched few one... but it wasn't soo funny... well, i just watch it for matsujun... "gakkou e ikou" with V6 is funnier to me ^^
MATSUJUN THE BEST! ^^
D means Document...like documentary....so they do like investigative stuff like a documentary...now it's G no Arashi...G stands for Ganbatte...it's basically them helping people...like help an actor to act...help people to confess their love...actually....there are some episodes that are hilarious...try to get the Uda Uda SP for G no Arashi and the Air Guitar one...classic!! You can go j_varietytv at livejournal to get it...
