michi.
there are two widely known "hitomi"s around the net and everyone has mistaken for which is which.
1: Yaida Hitomi
2: Furuya Hitomi

furuya hitomi did "is it you".as for chain i'm not sure...but one thing's for sure is that you can definitely defferentiate their voices.
yaida has a more 'delicate' voice.her songs tend to be slow too.
furuya has a more 'nasal' voice[which in a way suits her].her songs tend to be fast.

i only know 1 yaida hitomi song.tried finding for others but i've got no idea which is from whom.

examples of songs from yaida hitomi - tokitsu kaze
examples of songs from furuya hitomi - love2000,samurai drive,is it you, kimi no tari, pretty eyes

what i have listed is what i have.they are nice songs too.

oh yea,the purpose of this post is to just let you know the difference between the two.cause there are just too many people who can't differentiate the two!and you're one of them.......

to clear what Tekanan says

people always mix these two singers up:

furuya hitomi is usually known as "Hitomi", hitomi yaida is usually known "Yaiko". It's their mostly called nicknames, as you would want to know it to be.

Hitomi belongs to Tetusya Komuro's group singer, however Yaiko creates, compose her songs as well as lyrics.

I think Michi knows what she's talking about~

whew, make sure ur punctuation in your sentence, haha, or you say what you don't mean. Bleah

hmm, which singer are you talking? Hitomi or Yaiko?

Either way, I'm recommending Hitomi Yaiko to you, anyhow.
