How did you manage to get the Johnny Sports Festival 2003 as I am very interested to purchase a copy? Where about are they selling in Singapore and it is in VCD version?
this Johnnys Sports Event DVD is official.. can only pre-order thru' fanclubs... in Japan and Taiwan... i've approached my Taiwanese friend for help... for Japan side, they are sending out the DVDs on 16th Jan already.. i've no idea abt Taiwan side though.. and so far, it's only DVD version.. no news of VCD version..

I was in a hurry making it (subtitling is a time consuming thing) and didn't have a chance to edit as much but I just wanted you to have a chance to watch one of the cool segments they often have on the show but in this case, V6 in the US instead of Japan. It's pretty fun, so hope you liked it.

btw, i was watching gakkou e ikkou 17th feb episode just now.. if i did not hear wrongly inocchi wants to go back and finish high school? if that was it i was so touched until i cried.. a promise to his father it seems.. doea anyone know the whole story.. akakage-san..? kono koto shiteru..?

Yes, that's true..he's going back to school again. Ok..the whole story..which I took from taken from unofficial V6 website, here it goes..
Inohara of famous group V6, will become a High School student again, come April. In the past, he had left his correspondence high school in mid-term. For correspondence schools, one can always join other schools again, and graduate, by making up with the remaining points, in his case 28 points. At the moment, he has already narrowed down his choices to the 3 or four schools he would like to attend, and will be sitting for the entry exam next month.
"It's not about graduation or entering the universities, right now I just feel like studying" says Inocchi passionately.
There are two reasons. firstly, due to his decision to enter the entertainment world, he had promised his Father, "I will graduate high school before I turn 30". When he turned 15, due to heavy work commitment, he chose to enrol in the correspondence school. Due to his dislike for studies and also work, he dropped out in mid term after 4 and a half years.
The other reason, vocabulary power. Currently, he has a regular column in the monthly issues of Nikkei Entertainment, and also the Johnny's Web. "Recently I feel that I am constrained in my writing. I think it would be good if I study more" he says with a bitter smile. "I'd like to be able to write concisely, in a manner which will not bore the reader" and as such he is now building up his skills.
For correspondence schools, their entrance exams normally takes into consideration the candidate's skills & knowledge, hence seldom will one be rejected. Inocchi has already visited 3, 4 schools and he intends to choose one which is convenient for commuting between work.
Since he had not much education, it is inevitable for him "to check up words that I do not understand from the dictionary. It's fun. Although in the past, it was the same, but now since I like it, I am able to learn." No matter how busy he gets, he sets himself a target to finish reading 3 books in a month.
Once he graduates from high school, he is also thinking about continuing on to university. "I'd like to study more,ne. Because I cannot neglect my work, I'll only be able to study in my free time. " he says, with his eyes sparkling.
