it's not quite like Hana Yori Dango but it is another school dorama that focuses on friendship and love.....with a healthy dose of comedy.

Thank you for the heads-up. I'm acquiring it right now.

| tsukushi wrote: | Hi! I am new to the J-drama scene and I was wondering if some of you might be able to help me. I love romances such as Hana Yori Dango and I'm watching Densha Otoko now and it's quite good. I also love Gokusen. The only thing is that I hate when a romance ends badly. I guess I'm more of a romantic comedy girl than a drama person.
Any thoughts? I just hate when I get into the characters and start rooting for them and then one of them dies or something goes horribly wrong.
Thank you so much for your help! This site rocks! |

since you seem to like those gakuen doramas (school doramas) you should watch Nobuta wo Produce.

the Densha Otoko files are "soft subbed" meaning there is a separate subtitle file that you have to download in addition to the video file. the subtitle files are also located at d-addicts
