After watching Kou walk like a Zombie through "Good Luck" and "Dr. Koto" I was puzzled as to why she was becoming so popular. I mean, she's gorgeous. But then, there aren't a lot of ugly women staring in Japanese TV shows. I loved one comment I read about her. Someone said she looks like she prepares for her scenes by sucking on a sour pickle until the director shouts "Action!" Then I saw her in "Battle Royle" and I finally got it. She can come alive on screen. She can bring something more than just another pretty face. I don't know why she's chosen to play a statue in the two series I've seen her in. I totally agree with you. There's just something mysterious about her that I'm totally digging which has propelled her to my current favorite actress. Not only that, but she's simply beautiful. She doesn't even say a word in Orange Days, but you just can't help but be attracted to her character. This girl's got talent! Mr Green

I still havent seen it. I had the movie for the longest time and I never watched. Maybe something for me to do this weekend aside from studying for finals Beaten

She was pretty good in GO as well. But I still like her the best in Orange Days.

Whoa, you guys should check out Kou-chan's newest single Katachi Aru Mono. GREAT great song. And that's a LOT coming from me since I'm pretty picky about music. Very emotional too. I promise that you won't be sorry. No wonder it's #2 on the Oricon chart right now; which incidentely is how I found out about the song. Ah well, time to hit the sack. Sleeping at 4AM everyday can take it's toll on ya! Oh! Here's a pic to commemorate Kou-chan's recent success in the music industry before I sign off:
