When you write "Watashi" in a japanese text.
Is it , 킽 or both are correct ?

I'm currently taking elementary japanese at my college. But right now am a little intimedated and scared that i might not do well. In fact am struggling. Class is moving too fast and many of my classmate has some japanese background and can understand many phrases already and they are taking elementary japanese which cause the class to move on so quickly and leaving me behind. Shake Head

ganbatte ne ren.. i mean.. when i first started taking japanese lessons i also felt a little left behind.. but thanks to my initial knowledge of japanese from dramas i was able to catch up later.. hope this helps you.. don't worry... just make sure you know how to read those 50 syllables as soon as you see them.. it'll be a great help..

Y-Not, the best way is to write the kanji with furigana (small hiragana characters on the side) that way your teacher will not take off points Wink

I think you will do better.. stick with it and work hard.. try to get help from friends and make friends with people who know Japanese.. I think that is the best way to learn.

I think the only way you can learn Japanese very fast is to live in Japan or live in a Japanese language only enviornment. No mater how many Japaneses classes you take, if you dont speak it EVERYDAY it wont work. Even if you understand what the Japanese dialogs mean when u watching Jdrama without sub, it would be much difficult for you to speak it.
