Synopsis

Ogiwara Saki, 33, is a woman who does not go with the flow of society but forges her own path. She hates flattering men and trying to be nice to people of the same sex. She has failed the bar exam ten times in a row but persists in her dream of being a lawyer while working as a clerk at a law firm. Sakifs good friend, Hasumi Riko, who is a mother of two children, was high school classmates with Saki, but is in fact 35, because she had deliberately declared herself to be two years younger. She has no qualms of lying for the sake of female happiness, pretending to be married to a man of wealth and blessed with children. Kanno Miho and Tanihara Shosuke, huh?

This looks to be something worth watching. Victory! Peace!

I've seen the first four eps (subs for ep 5 just came out). Even though I like it so far, I have to see I find the characters unappealing. I understand that Kanno's character is suppose to be rather 'dull', but the other characters have really seem flat so far. For example, if they were to get rid of Tsukamoto Takashi's character you probably wouldn't even notice.

to be honest, the most interesting charcaters so far are saki herself and he r friend riko. i like they they were with each other considering they weren't even close friends back in their school time and kind of hated each other.
but yes, masato presence or no presence is not making much different in the story.

Riko offered an explanation at the end of episode 6. Although I am not sure how much credibility it has in real life, it is somewhat believeable, at least enough for me to continue watching.

Loved this episode.
I like the explanation but in real life being a lawyer is not a pleasant profession, ethically speaking.

I also think that Nagasaku Hiromi

I have to say eps 5 & 6, were definitely a step up and the best eps for me so far.

Yes, she is. It was posted on her thread some months ago. She announced it before this show started, but the she & the director said she wasn't going to drop out of the show and would continue filming as planned. I had actually forgot that she was until I started watching this show

I really like how this series has picked up in the last 3 eps.

I agree, it seems like there's no 'correct' decision for them to make. Either choice will have 'cons'.

The one who is really pregnant looks more radiant than the one acting it out. SmileSmile

The main storyline is captivating but the male cast were stuck with one dimensional acting. I wasn't drawn to watch every episode.
