Well, last night while I was watching Shomuni, our neighbor comes banging on the door and yelling that our fence was on fire! We tore out the back to find out she was right. Yesterday was stinking hot and there was a breeze blowing, so we were really concerned, but we got it put out OK. Turns out our son, who is 18, went out the back for a cigarette (yes, he smokes, against our wishes) and had put the smoke out against the wooden fence Beat You The thing is, it was right next to our (wooden-framed) garage, so it could have goine up in flames too - and taken all of his music gear with it Sweat

Yow. Sweat Shocked

Although highly improbable, I hope it'll make him refrain from smoking... Fingers crossed

Glad nothing got really damaged, A-D. Victory! Peace!

WOW!
AD, you all are lucky. SOunds like that fire could have a major problem in hot windy weather. Guessing your boy will be more careful in the future.... Beaten

On Topic: I have a friend who didnt get to go judge at a small film festival because her 5 year old twin boys became sick. She has been acting like a total cow since, annoyed since she had to do, " What she knew she was the right thing but she was heartbroken she was missing the Festival."
Like staying home with your kids when theyre sick is even a question. THe poor kids missed Halloween trick or treating. When I suggested she bring them over here for candy at least she just acted snarky. Shake Head

It's your property. You can't stop him from smoking, but you can tell him he can't smoke anywhere near your house.

It bothers me that pretty soon it's going to be easier to fill out my income tax form than it is to buy toothpaste. Here are all the choices (and this is just Crest):

Baking Soda and Peroxide Whitening
Cavity Protection - Cool Mint
Cavity Protection - Regular
Extra Whitening & Scope - Long Lasting Mint
Extra Whitening & Scope - Cool Peppermint
Extra Whitening & Scope - Mint Splash
Extra Whitening & Scope - Citrus Splash
Extra Whitening with Tartar Protection - Clean Mint
Multicare Whitening Gel
Nature's Expressions Gel - Pure Peppermint (Somehow the term "Nature's Expressions" reminds me of "Nature Calls" not something I associate with brushing my teeth!)
Scope Liquid Gel - Minty Fresh
Scope Liquid Gel - Peppermint
Pro-Health Enamel Shield - Mint
Pro-Health Gel - Clean Mint
Pro-Health Night - Clean Night Mint (I guess you can't use this in the daytime)
Pro-Health - Clean Cinammon
Pro-Health Whitening Gel - Fresh Clean Mint
Sensitivity Extra Whitening
Sensitivity Soothing Whitening
Sensitivity Whitening & Scope - Minty Fresh
Tartar Control Whitening & Scope - Minty Fresh
Tartar Protection Gel - Fresh Mint
Tartar Protection Gel - Regular
Tartar Protection Gel Whitening - Cool Mint
Vivid Night White Striped - Moonlight Mint
Vivid Night White Striped - Revitalizing Mint
Vivid White Striped - Invigorating Mint
Vivid White Striped - Refreshing Mint
Whitening Expressions - Cinammon Rush
Whitening Expressions - Refresing Vanilla Mint
Whitening Expressions - Wintergreen Ice
Whitening Expressions - Extreme Herbal Mint

ALL I WANNA DO IS BRUSH MY F**KING TEETH!!!

Have you ever tried Quercetin? It might help, it's natural and really cheap.

Quercetin is a plant pigment that is found in leafy green vegetables, onions, apples, and other natural foods. Quercetin acts as a natural antihistamine, which can help reduce or even completely eliminate hives in many people.

I will be trying it. Thumbsup
Thanx, Tu. Hug
They started a few years ago when I was under stress but now they get set off by temperature changes so winter in FLorida is nuts for it. There can be a 65 degree spread in a couple of days.

Sure, I hope you try it and it provides some relief. By the way it has no side effects as with the pharmaceutical products. I use it for general health, but I have given it to friends in the past who have allergies and it has helped them.

You might have to try it consistently to build up effective levels in the blood before you see any results...but then again everybody is different so some might see results more quickly than others.

If you are going to buy it, I recommend www.iherb.com. Really cheap prices and super fast shipping. Feel better, Eve. Victory! Peace!
