I agree with Groink.

Just made a donation a second ago via Paypal, to help the JDorama cause.

That's pretty harsh, Groink.

Sorry, dude... I didn't direct it at you in particular. You've actually donated to the site before. I thought this would be a good opportunity to bring up the donation dialog once again. You know, do something good out of a bad situation. Smile

I donated late last year... I'm going to use some of the $$$$ from my latest eBay sales and donate again.

Oh okay. I guess the site's problems got me a bit grumpy. But I think if you worded things a little less harsh, people would be a bit more receptive to the idea... Smile

Hey how about some kinda pledge drive or something? Maybe some of the sellers/traders can contribute a series or two as a thank you for donating... Very PBS-like... Big Grin

You know J-dorama.com is sucking eggs when even the company network can't pick it up.

Apologies for the down time recently. There were slight problems with the MySQL database.. they were suspecting its coz of the size.. but I doubt so.. MySQL can support much larger sizes than what I currently use...

Anyway, I've been keeping site costs really low.. considering that JDorama.com consumes over 100GB of bandwidth a month.. any other plan for that bandwidth would easily cost over 20 times as much as how much I pay now.. tough issue here...

Have any of you had your profile selection for "Country" changed without you changing it? I'm from the United States but for some reason in my profile the "Country" keeps randomly changing to other countries even after I choose USA. Whats up with that?

If for some strange unfathomable reason that it is the sql server, you could just relocate that. bandwidth usage for the sql server should be a lot less then the actual web server.
