Well, Aya is really only in it for the money. If a person's heart isn't into it, it's going to suck.

I'm sure money was part of the issue, but it really seemed she wanted Shimokita Sundays to work, but the how the story went along and how everything was directed it looked awful. The story wasn't all that bad an idea though, but it was just badly done.

Honestly, I think Aya's roles are mainly for the teen and early 20's market... A little too fluffy for me and probably doesn't stand up to repeated viewings.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but it appears that this drama ain't one of 'em.

I think they were until she hit 20 and did Attention Please.
Now with Ri Kouran on the way, i think she as able to expand the targeted age viewing some.
Will see.

Yea, I totally agree. And gomen, KT, but I thought Attention Please was geared to this very audience. The teens and early 20s. I mean, it was incredibly funny, but lacked the inner depth. O'course, I really enjoyed Attenion Please and I've revisted a few episodes for a good laugh, so whatever! Mr Green

My Review: 6/10

After getting through the first episode I realized that it would take me a while to get into this drama. I was wrong. I didnft get into this drama AT ALL. Ifm not exactly sure why. It wasnft completely terrible, but it was completely void of any gwowh factor. I found myself forcing my eyes and mind to focus when watching, and if it werenft for my inability to quit a drama once Ifve started it, I would have stopped watching Ace no Nerae after the first episode.

Even Ayafs natural charm could not save this drama in my eyes. I did enjoy Sakai Ayanafs character and I think I was rooting for Matsumoto Riofs character moreso than Uetofs. Ishigaki Yumafs hair entertained me to no end, but again, overall, this drama was just blah.

wkwkwkwk guess somethin's wrong with me. i kinda like it. at least it made me wanna play tennis. and i love the ending song

*stares at ochofujin's eyes* they were Beaten
