One thing I really hated with FF 4 is that, when the tabs are on top, pressing F6 no longer highlights the address bar. This is a 'shortcut' I use all the time, so I was hoping they'd fix it with FF 5. But the issue is still there. Maybe they don't see it as a problem. Sweat

Putting the tabs at the bottom fixes that, huh?

I have the tabs at the bottom and F6 works just fine.

Yeah, that's why I think they don't see the problem. To me, that's a bug. Whether the tabs are on top (which I prefer) or on bottom, pressing F6 should highlight the address bar.

So are you guys noticing any performance gains on FF 5?

For me it has been more stable. FF4 constantly crashed on me. Sweat
In terms of speed (surfing, uploading, downloading) not much of a difference.

Thanks for your input. Smile

I'm still on FF4. I haven't had a problem crashing but I'll fathom a guess that I probably don't avail myself of many add-ons or extensions as some of you guys who most likely have more highly customized set-ups (which may lead to problems.)

Just a guess.

I haven't noticed any performance increase... But it's still better than IE. Victory! Peace!

I'm with you on that, regarding FF in general.
