Yea The Simpsons is great but as dried out a little in the last couple of seasons. I think the better show is Futurama, from Matt Greoning, it has far more sharper writing, very funny. It's a shame it got cancelled.

The Simpsons is an institution though, it's remained so popular and deservedly so but I feel without Homer Simpson it would be half the show it is now, he definetly brings home all the laughs.

I am also a huge fan of the Simpsons. I have watched some episodes 5 or 6 times and I am still not tired of them. I also enjoyed the Mr. Sparkle Episode. A true classic. Applaud

I *still* love Beavis and Butthead. I am a girl too, people are surprised when they know I'm a girl who loves watching that show. I want the DVD boxset of B&B, but for now I have VHS tapes Bleah

I love the Simpsons, especially from the first 6 or so seasons. I love Homer and Ralph Wiggum (he comes out with some really funny stuff...this kid is hilarious!).

I really like groundskeeper Willie! He gets really funny all the time!
One of the funniest lines from Halloween special, the shinning episode:
Willie: You read my thoughts! You've got the shinning!
Bart: You mean the shining..
Willie: Shh, you wanna get sued? Now look, boy.
If your dad goes ga ga you just use that shin of yours to call me
and I'll come running. But don't be reading my mind between 4 and 5,
that's Willie's time. Mr Green

I think that it's cool that people are open to entertainment from Asia but curious if you enjoy dramas from your own country (or other countries outside of Asia)?

I'll start:

USA: I love "THE O.C."!!! I have watched a little of "Joan of Arcadia" and "Tru Calling" via BT but mainly dig "THE O.C.". And I've never watched it on TV but enjoying it immensely on DVD..."Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel".

Although, this is in Asia...but no one talks about Phil Dramas...

Philippines: I used to love "Tabing Ilog" but it ended...every Filipino family in the US has a TFC satellite, so everytime I'm at a Filipino home..."Burks" is on.

Anyone know of any good Australian, European, UK dramas worth watching?

kndy

One example from the top of my head is The Sopranos. It seems like forever waiting for another season. I love that show, but last season was a bit of a disappointment for me. I will watch it through the last episode though Mr Green
