I have been totally obsessed with Kusanagi Tsuyoshi for such a long time. I have watched so many of his shows and any movie that he has done (as long it is not too scary). I think he is an all-around great performer in tv series, movies, concerts, in SMAPxSMAP. He is very charming and adorable. It is no wonder that Katori Shingo likes him so much and is always hanging onto him. Tsuyoshi is just too cute. And it is even cuter when people call him "Tsuypon".

I just love it when SMAP members call him Tsuyopon especially Shingo coz' he was the first one to call him that... ^_^

how did Tsuyoshi-kun get that nickname Tsuyopon?

Tsuyoshi is very cute and I really liked the episodes of SMAPxSMAP when Nakai has to cook and Tsuyoshi took over the hosting. Tsuyoshi makes such a nice host, he's cute, sweet, nice, funny, everything. I believe Tsuyoshi makes a great husband and father for sure. He has all the great qualities. I believe he will succeed in everything he does in life.

Btw, do you notice that as Tsuyoshi grows over the years, his face has 'more angles'? Used to be a little on the round side, then triangular, squarish...? Just an observation from a year or 2 back.

He's gaining more weigh that's why and he looks better now.

Tsuyoshi is to drool for!!!!!!!! He is totally HOT! I agree that he looked good in 1999, 2000, and 2001.

I remember seeing him in the SMAPxSMAP 1998 episode with Whoopi Goldberg when they went to Los Angeles and OMG, he looked really cute there. When he went to the Georgia restaurant with Shingo, OMG Tsuyoshi was so cute, especially when he asked the waiter in Japanese how the fried chicken was prepared and then Shingo made him realize that he needs to speak in English and Tsuyoshi goes "How prepare?" And the waiter said, "Secret." Tsuyoshi repeats, "Secret" and looks at Shingo.

Tsuyoshi is always very cute when trying his best to speak English.

I also remember the SMAPxSMAP episode in 2001 with Kelly Chen and he asked her how do you say "it tastes good" in Chinese and she said "ho mei" and he repeated after her. He was so so so CUTE! He try his best there too.

Even as Chonan Kan, he try his very best to speak Korean. I like when he does that in concert. In PAMS 2001 concert, after he sing a SMAP song in Korean, at the end he said "saraheyo" so so so CUTE! so SWEET!

Every thing Tsuyoshi does, he always tries his best.

Gotta agree with you TOTALLY. Think Tsuyoshi is putting in a lot of effort to learn Korean.

what I like from Tsuyoshi most is his voice.
when it comes to singing, his voice the best and the most dominant among other SMAP members.

i think he is not that handsome compare to takuya, but he is absolutely attractive.

i watched Food Fight, and Tsuyoshi is really thin, but he always win the eating competitions.
he should eat and exercise more.

I love Food Fight, his character is kind, sweet, and has such a good heart. So sad, he pretend to be an important businessman when he goes back to the orphanage where he grew up. But he is really a janitor, cleans the floors, but secretly he is a major competitor at the company's underground food eating contest. With all his consecutive winnings, he donates all the monies to the orphanage. Gotta love his character and it was so sad at the end, really sad, make people cry.

I also enjoyed the shows "The Way I Live" and "The Way We Live". Watching both of them, make people want to cry, especailly in "The Way I Live" in the end, very sad. So hard to forget. But in "The Way We Live" at the end it is happy, so finally, they give him a happy ending.

I agree, Tsuyoshi has a very nice voice. It truly stands out from the rest of the SMAP members. It is very unique. I love listening to him talk and sing. Can listen to him 24/7 non-stop. And it does not matter which language he speaks or sings in, his voice is the best. Such a cute voice.

Don't forget, Tsuyopon did quite well in Sutaa No Koi, he lived happily ever after with Fujiwara Norika!

Yeah, you're right. I loved that show too. Tsuyoshi is so cute cutting the ham and feeding Fujiwara Norika. His character was so cute falling in love with a big star. Yeah, at the end they show them as an old married couple and Shingo goes there to interview her.
