<well, it is so so movie I give it 7 point.. still enjoyable, the story line is ok but not really satisfying especially the ending performance. a dance theme movie as it is very difficult to perform an amazing show if the actors not a pro in it, not like music theme that can be dubbed.
I think they don't dance that good in this movie, but I really like the theme song.
Actually I watched it just for her, she was beautifull as always but I don't really like her short hair. I found out Hiro was also hot.

I know what you mean. You know they are trying hard, but they're not as good as people dancing on MTV, yet in the movie, they are the "best" there is...

Aya Hirayama's career blooms

TOKYO — When she was a little girl growing up in Tochigi, actress Aya Hirayama dreamed of being in a Hollywood movie. �gOf course, it was an impossible dream,�h Hirayama, 24, muses. �gBut later, when I was 14, I saw an ad just by chance. It was for an audition by Hori Production.�h

And so a star was born. Hirayama went through the usual routine of Hori proteges, learning to sing, dance and act. She started off doing photo shoots, TV commercials, TV variety show appearances and dramas, before making her movie debut in 2000. Hirayama can currently be seen on NTV�fs �gHataraki Man�h from 10 p.m. on Wednesday nights, as well as some NHK satellite TV programs. Her film appearances include �gWaterboys�h (2001), two films in the �gTsuribaka Nissho�h series, and the 2006 South Korean film �gFighter in the Wind.�h She also starred as the lead in the 2005 TV series �gHaruka 17,�h based on the popular manga of the same name.

Hirayama�fs latest film is �gKagehinata ni Saku�h (Bloom in the shade), an omnibus story of nine ordinary people in Tokyo who don�ft usually get much attention in their daily lives. Based on the best seller by Gekidan Hitori, it consists of five intertwining storylines. Hirayama plays a struggling pop singer who spends most of her time performing for geeks in Akihabara while waiting for her big break into mainstream showbiz.

�gIt was something new for me,�h Hirayama says of her character. �gBut I�fm not like her at all because I don�ft desperately accept offers just for publicity. Akihabara was a very fascinating place to film. We had extras and ordinary people playing the geeks who passionately support my character. Before making the movie, I hadn�ft been to Akihabara. I still don�ft know much about it. I know it�fs popular but I have this image of it being a bit dangerous. I need courage to go there.�h

Hirayama says she found director Yuichiro Hirakawa very easy to work with. �gHe is very gentle and let me play the role in my own way. I also like to change my acting style and rewrite the script to some extent. Hirakawa is good like that. He listened and agreed with my changes.�h

�gKagehinata ni Saku�h was a very difference experience from her South Korean film, Hirayama recalls. �gThe style was totally different. In South Korea, they might take up to one year to create a film, while in Japan, they crank it out in 40 days. In Korea, actors and actresses always need to think of their roles for a long time.�h

Hirayama still has her childhood dream of making a movie in Hollywood, but knows she will have to work on her English. �gOnce, when I played the role of a bilingual girl in a film, I learned English for three months and memorized every part of the script. But I�fve forgotten everything I learned,�h she laments. In the meantime,

First time poster here. Anyone here ever played the PS2 game "0 story" starring Aya Hirayama. I just got to playing this a few days ago and not knowing Japanese (since there's no subtitles), i kind of suck at it. The first time Aya gets into trouble , i failed to save her and it's game over.

Would appreciate any help or advice for those who ever played the game.

Aya Hirayama and Mokomichi Hayami announce their marriage

Aya Hirayama and Mokomichi Hayami have registered their marriage on August 8. The couple made the announcement via their respective agencies.

Reportedly, Hayami and Hirayama are already living together. It has not been revealed whether or not they will hold a wedding ceremony and reception. Hirayama is not pregnant, and they both plan on continuing their work.
