Great idea in my opinion... i'm not watching kdrama yet, but I guess many people do... also just having a database with korean drama's and actors would be very neat! Mr Green

i agree!

The korean dramas have more or less exploded the last year! And wow, they really know how to tell a story, actually, all i have seen recently is korean productions!

im currently watching lets go to school sang do, and omg im enjoying it Smile

anyway, i think it would be great with a korean database as well, and im pretty sure that alot would appreciate it, and eventually help with infos on dramas and so on!

sorry... not for me...
korean dramas are long enough to make me feel bored...
and the biggest reason... how must i say... the language...
if you compare all the language, korean, japanese, hokkien, cantonese & mandarin... for me, only japanese language can attract me... i'm simply in love with the beauty of japanese words... how they said it in a drama...
90% of polite words & 10% of others including the rude one...

P.S:- how many sumimasen have u been heard in a japanese drama? Good

but why not, we are not talking about making a new site, just add korean dramas and profiles in the database, and maybe a forum for them.

i'm totally agree with yon.. kdramas has long storyline & always makes me turning to another channel (somestimes makes me sleepy).. about the language, i prefer japanese language than korean.. kcast speak quite harsh (for me).. watching jdorama has motivated me to learn japanese language.. wish me luck!! Fingers crossed

We're not discussing which country has a better or more beautiful language. The point is wether adding K-Drama to this website (as database / forum) would fit, and wether there are people who'd welcome this addition. You won't be forced to watch K-Drama anyway so if you don't like it, it shouldn't be any bother at all. Maybe having a poll would be good?

Why stop there?

I mean "Friends" airs in Japan just like "Winter Sonata" did/does so we should add David Schwimmer and Courtney Cox profiles.

There's already a couple of threads for K-dramas...

Maybe you should think about starting a separate K-drama message board if you're so gung-ho about it... Big Grin

Not only do you not get a joke,

but you call someone ELSE racist when you bascially come to Jdorama.com to "rag on the Japanese language" and then "rag on Jdorama".

whatever.

Just dont get you.. you dont have to visit korean dramas here if it would be something... whiner

Kdramas IS bad - is wrong
Wheather a kdrama is good or bad depends on production from production, just like everywhere else - is right

geez, is everyone here like this? bleh

well, i thought it would be a great idea as jdorama is the leading japanese drama site, if kdramas joined, and it would result in a wide community for all fans.

With reason and sense of humor? Thankfully, most.
