MAIL... Akiba is not an ordinary private detective. He is expert in evil spirits. With his "spirit-gun", he purifies grudges of evil spirits, sends them to nirvana so that they can reincarnate. One day he meets a mysterious girl named Mikoto. It changes Akiba's life...
It surely does, since Mikoto isn't played by anyone else than... yes, you guessed right...
So those two team up and have to go through 9 episodes of ghost hunting and what not.
It's pretty good. Chiaki's performance is once again a pleasure to see.
ANother thing.
Azumi 2 is about to be released in Japan on DVD (September 22nd); The UK edition still stands at October 17th. There are only 2 editions: Azumi 2 and the Azumi Twinpack (Azumi 1&2);
The Japanese cut of Azumi 2 also has no English subs.
There is no special edition announced (unlike they did it with Azumi 1). I think it shows how bad the movie really did in the cinemas.
On another note...
Chiaki is THE queen of Yokai Daisenso. Her character just kicks ass and her performance is good.
EDIT and note... when using C&P check for typos...

azumi2, not eng subs?
Yokai Daisenso? a new drama with Chiaki in it?
I took it from the little documentary they put on the special edition DVD. It's quite a funny scene, taken from the basketball game filming. Chiaki says something, then starts coughing a little. Aki starts making fun of her (always knew she's just a devil in disguise); Finally the late Fukasaku Kinji appears, they bow and greet him. The camera shows him, he points at them and goes "Aren't they cute?"
