Fumino Kimura to be guest star in episode 3 of 'Suteki na Sentakushi'
Kimura Fumino will be the guest star in the 3rd episode of upcoming FujiTV / Kansai TV Autumn 2014 drama "Suteki na Sentakushi" which will be shown at 10pm on 28 October. The drama begins its run from 14 October and stars Takenouchi Yutaka as its lead.
Kimura will play the role of a secretary who has an extramarital affair with her boss who is the company president and tries to force him to marry her. The company president will be Nakamura Shunsuke while his wife will be played by Fueki Yuko.

Fumino Kimura to star in TBS 2015 Spring drama
Kimura Fumino will be taking on her first leading role in a drama series when she appears in the upcoming TBS Spring 2015 drama "Mother Game ~ Kanojotachi no Kaikyu ~" (Mother Game ~ Their ranking~) which will begin its run from 14 April in the Tuesdays 10pm timeslot. She will play the role of Kanbara Kiko, a divorced single mother who has an annual salary of JPY 2.5m only but ends up sending her son to a high-class kindergarten where most if not all the kids there have rich parents. Kiko feels as if she's the odd one out but unwittingly helps some of the "rich" mothers there solve their unspeakable problems. Co-stars include Hasegawa Kyoko, Kanjiya Shihori, Adachi Yumi and Dan Rei.
This is Kimura's first leading role in a drama since she made her debut 10 years ago. She revealed that the early years of her career was tough as she was not making much progress and had to take on part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. It was only until she was scouted by her current agency in 2010 that her career began to pick up in the following year so she is very happy about this opportunity given to her.

Fumino Kimura to star in WOWOW drama
Kimura Fumino will be starring in the new WOWOW drama "Suisho no Koudou - Satsujin Bunsekihan-" (The crystal's heartbeat - Murder analysis team) which is the second installment in the "Satsujin Bunsekihan" series following "Ishi no Mayu" shown last August. The new drama series which is based on the popular novel series "Keishicho Satsujin Bunsekihan" by Asami Kazushi, will consist of 5 episodes and begin its run from 13 November 2016 in the Sundays 10pm timeslot. In conjunction with the broadcast of the new drama, "Ishi no Mayu" will also get a rerun from 6pm on 6 November where all episodes will be shown at one go.
Kimura will reprise her role as Kisaragi Touko who is a police detective in the 11th section of the Metropolitan Police Department's 1st division. Her partner Takano Hideaki will be played by Aoki Munetaka again. While trying to solve a bizarre case, Kisaragi struggles to cope with the trauma she suffered during the arrest of the serial killer in "Ishi no Mayu" and makes a huge mistake at work. As such, she has to try to overcome her psychological issue and regain her confidence in work. Kimura commented that in this new series which is full of intense moments, viewers can also see a more human side to Touko. Even for those who had not watched "Ishi no Mayu" before, they will be able to enjoy "Suisho no Kodou" on its own.
Co-stars include Watanabe Ikkei, Kitami Toshiyuki, Fujimoto Takahiro and Koyanagi Yu.

Fumino Kimura marries her acting teacher
Kimura Fumino announced her marriage to her acting teacher on 17 November. The couple chose to register their marriage on 11 November and have no plans yet to hold a wedding. Kimura is not pregnant at the moment and will continue working as an actress.
Kimura's husband who is in his late 30s, started coaching her in acting from 5 years ago during workshop sessions organised by her current agency. At that time, Kimura had just resumed her career after taking a break due to atopic dermatitis and lack of opportunities and joined her agency six years ago. From then, she started learning about acting from the basics and grew to develop a strong relationship with her acting teacher before starting to date from three years ago.
Kimura posted her statement on her Instagram account where she confirmed her marriage. She revealed that she had been looking downwards and feeling negative about herself until she met her husband who gave her courage and is like a sun to her. Kimura also thanked everyone for their well wishes and pledged to continue working hard as an actress.

Fumino Kimura to star in WOWOW Fall 2019 drama
Fumino Kimura will star in the WOWOW Fall 2019 drama "Chou no Rikigaku: Satsujin Bunsekihan" ( Butterfly's Mechanics: Murder Analysis Squad).
Kimura plays Toko Kisaragi a detective in the Investigation 1 Section 11 of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Her senior, Detective Hideaki Takano, has decided to move to the Public Security Bureau. Takano’s transfer will be carried out in 1 week. During this time, a murder takes place. A wealthy man is found dead in his home. His throat has been cut and a blue flower placed within the wound. Also, the victim's wife Mayumi is missing. A newspaper then receives an email from Kurasuta 16, taking responsibility for the murder. The email also implies the location of Mayumi. Since Takano is soon to transfer to the Public Security Bureau, Kisaragi feels more pressure and responsibility to solve the crime.

Kimura Fumino got a divorce this past summer.
In an interview with ORICON NEWS, Kimura's agency commented, "We have heard that they divorced in summer due to differences in their lifestyles from their busy schedules."

Fumino Kimura to star in TV Asahi 2020 Fall drama
Fumino Kimura will star in the TV Asahi 2020 Fall drama "Schininin no Hisho". Also cast in supporting roles are Alice Hirose, Nanao, Shim Eun-Kyung, Yuko Oshima, Shigeru Muroi and Yosuke Eguchi.
Kimura will play Chiyo Mochizuki. She currently works as a director’s secretary at Toto bank.
Synopsis:
President Ichihara of Toto bank and his secretary Nana (Alice Hirose) are together in a VIP suite room of a hotel. The couple are having an affair. Suddenly, Ichihara loses consciousness.
Chiyo (Fumino Kimura), Fujiko (Nanao), Saran (Shim Eun-Kyung) and Satsuki (Shigeru Muroi) arrive in the suite room and give him CPR. Despite their efforts, President Ichihara dies. The four women remove the hotel room of any evidence. Meanwhile, Miwa (Yuko Oshima) orders the hotel manager to delete records of President Ichihara's stay at the hotel.
Prior to this, President Ichihara asked Keitaro ( Eguchi) if he died in some place other than his home, make it look like he died in his home. Keitaro currently runs a ramen restaurant, but he used to work as a secretary for a politician. He sent the 5 women to the VIP hotel room to take care of the situation.
Keitaro and Satsuki (who also worked as a secretary for a politician), along with secretaries Chiyo, Nana, Fujiko, Saran and Miwa, work as a shadow group.

Fumino Kimura announces marriage and pregnancy
On March 12th, Fumino Kimura announced she will be getting married to a non-celebrity man.
Earlier that day, Kimura said on Instagram that she is expecting her first child. Her agency confirmed with news outlets that she will be getting married and giving birth early this summer.
Kimura's fiancé is someone with whom she has been friends with for a long time. She commented, "He makes ordinary everyday conversations into precious moments. I am grateful for him."
Kimura was previously married to an acting instructor. The two divorced in 2019.
