Yeah, it doesn't have a story depth of Kiki or Mononoke (my two faves), but it was an enjoyable film... More so than Ponyo , IMO.

The Borrowers was a terrific book as I remember. There is a reason its a classic.
I thought Ponyo was a bit of a bore. Sorry. _________________

Yeah Ponyo was met with a tepid response by many casual viewers and Ghibli fans alike.
