minna... little bit off topic here.

I just download 1 rittoru ep. 9 and 10 from jpopsuki. After it's completed, I tried to play it on VLC. But it seems that the video and the sound didn't completely match, the video was delayed for 2 or 3 seconds. I tried on WMP, the exact result came out. Why it's happened to me? Is there anything that I can do to fix it? And is there anybody who esperienced the same problem with me?

AAH, actually I can't wait to download ep. 11, but i'm afraid the same problem will happened again..

One more. I read in some site that there's an 1 Rittoru movie. It was released on 2004 and the casts are quite new. Does anybody has seen this movie?

Thanx

i think its out of respect to the real Aya true ordeal. They want us to remember that Aya never experienced love from a boy. Kinda leaves a lingering pain knowing that this is reality.

Try Media Player Classic.

If MPC gives you the same problem (and since you already tried VLC and WMP), it's likely a codec problem. Did you download any new codecs recently? I'm not an expert at this, but I know that having too many codecs can cause all kinds of trouble when playing back videos. Sweat Find an online FAQ to follow, and see if getting rid of the new codec doesn't solve the problem.

Arigatou minna for being with me all this weeks, when I was reading this thread. Because of you I still believe that there are still persons who have warmth in their hearts. We are from the different parts of the world, raised in different cultures, but still ... we enjoyed Aya's story, and cried one liter of tears watching this dorama, with no differences:). The last episode crushed my heart, and I felt real pain in the chest. Thank God I'm 24 years old, not 60 - because I would go for sure to hospital with a heart attack...

I enjoyed the show and I'll keep the story's main meaning deep in my heart. ...

Have to admit, I used to hate watching shows that have a theme similar to this one. What initially opened me up to it was Summer Snow, and of course Beatiful Life. I haven't exactly finished this series yet to the end, but I'm starting to get the weird feeling and urge to watch something funny and/or stupid right away, preferrably something with the same lead actress in it (in this case, Sawajiri Erika). Kind of in denial here I guess, regardless of the outcome of the series, I somehow have to balance myself out after watching something with a story as profound as this one. *That bit of a spoiler up a few posts above is really irritating me, gomen, gomen, I'll try not to think about it too much**. The actress really is, for lack of a much stronger word, perfect for the role. She wasn't just a pretty face, there was quality to it and she made me believe and more importantly, made me feel for what she was going through. I wasn't watching a tv show anymore, it felt like I was witnessing it first hand. The message is, at the same time, both deep and simple to understand. Appreciate what we have around us, especially the things we do everyday, and of course all the people we come across while trudging through this thing called life. What I remember most up to this point (I'm only on ep7 so far) was when:

Possible Spoiler:

Quote:
... Aya was getting on the bus with her disability card, and shopping with her sister as well, the looks and idiotic comments she would get from various people. She was able to smile and bear it all, which is probably something I personally would not have been capable of. Her mom was right when they were talking about it at the dinner table that yeah, she would get weird glances and such, but at the same time to step back and realize that some of those glances are also kind and well intentioned. Sometimes we human beings as a general rule, get so wrapped up in our own selves that we fail to appreciate those people who look to us with love, admiration, support, and most especially, acceptance. I know I am guilty of that myself, every minute of every day. Whenever I experience rejection, or a day doesn't go as planned, 9 times out of 10 I've failed to think back on what went RIGHT...

Anyway, sorry for the long post. it's just that this drama really made me think about things. To Kioku fansubs, your work is very much appreciated and I look forward to finishing the series. Thank you.

1 Rittoru DEFINITELY one of the BEST DORAMA I've ever seen. It's so beautiful. You cry a lot, yet you smile a lot too. You're heart break but you can still feel warmth in it. Eventhough it cost thousands litre of your tears, but it also give you MILLIONS of love. We really learn a lot from Aya, her strength, her tears, her smile, her minds, and her thoughts, can give you a new perspective of life, how we appreciate what we've been giving of.

Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:

If someone ask me, "From 1 to 10, which one will you use to describe 1 Rittoru?" I'm gonna say, "11? 12? 13?"Applaud

minna-san, I'm very glad that I'm able to watch this dorama. In top of all, I direct my greatest appreciation to Kioku and PBF, who already gave us "enlightment" so we can understand the beauty of this dorama.

Minna, I found out that there' 1 rittoru movie. This is the summary

==============================================
1 Rittoru no Namida

CAST & CREW
Asae ONISHI Kazuko KATO
Mitsuo HAMADA Yui SAKUMA
Maki HAMADA Rina SAITO

Director - Chikara Okamura

http://www.cooljapanesemovies.com/pickupmovie/1liternonamida/1liter_02.jpg

INTRODUCTION
"1 Liter no Namida" is based on the bestselling book of the same title from the late 1980s. It is the diary of young Aya Kito, and tells the story of her struggle with Spinocerebellar Degeneration - a crippling, and ultimately fatal disease. The movie will be released this autumn, on the sixteenth anniversary of Aya's death at the age of 25. Aya's mother, Shioka, who published her own story in a volume entitled "Inochi no Hurdle", will appear in the film, too. And we also participate in this production.

New face Asae Ohnishi (20) debuts in the leading role as Aya. She was very impressed with the book, and is determined to portray Aya's strong spirit. Mitsuo Hamada appears as Aya's father (Mizuki), Kazuko Kato plays her mother (Shioka), and Yoshimi Ashikawa takes a role as a matron (Sato). Special guest stars Shuichiro Moriyama and Ryo Hamamizu are powerful actors who put serious expression into the movie. We are looking forward to seeing Ohnishi's performance as Aya, as well as the other actors.

STORY ----------------- spoiler also-------------------------
The film will mainly depict Aya's story from the age of fourteen, when she was struck with the disease, up to the age of 21 - the same period the diary covers. It relates how the disease attacks Aya in her third year of junior high school, slurring her speech and causing her to lose muscle control in her arms and legs. It tells the story of Aya's family and her physicians, and their efforts to provide her with as fulfilling a life as possible. Rather than give in to the debilitating disease, she continues her studies, and competes for admission to the exclusive Higashi high school. Once at the high school, her struggles become even more difficult, and she eventually transfers to a special school for the disabled. This is where the title comes from, as Aya writes in her diary, "I am leaving the Higashi high school, and will live under a heavy burden as a handicapped person. To face this fact, I will need one liter of tears in my eyes."@

===============================================

If minna-san watch the picture colsely, it seems that the person who played Aya in the movie also played as Aya's roommate in epi 9-11. Is it true?
