personally, what I hate most when they show kdramas here is that they CUT scenes! and when they cut, they cut A LOT! but I do hope they don't do that to jdoramas as they are already short....
I'm sure they won't cut scenes in Jdoramas because, like you've said, they are really short with only 11-12 episodes.

Yeah, Gokusen is postponed. The GMA management have to change their plan due to many requests from the people to consider showing this Jdorama on primetime. So, the network is still to make a decision wether to show it on GMA-7 and wait for a certain fantaserye to finish or to show it on QTV-11 on november. _________________

i'm still having mixed emotions with regards to the dubbing.. ick. I have been watching Gokusen over and over and over..

ang pangit ni matsujun sa hana yori dango.. hehehehehe.. i have the second episode and i don't know how they'll manage to fit in everything in 11 eps.. yung meteor garden 19 episodes eh.. anyway.. i can't wait for the episode where tsukushi (japanese shan cai) tells doumyoji (japanese ah si) that she doesn't like his hair.. i wish they'd bring back matsujun's purty hair.
i feel kinda lucky that i wouldn't be in the country to see matsujun/yamashita/yamada in the bangketa with their posters..
that is if the jdorama clicks with the philippine audience..

hmm finally a jdorama here in the phil...good thing that both big networks(abs-cbn and gma) here in the philippines will be airing jdorama..i just hope that gma will dubbed these doramas really well, they kinda have bad dubbing....i hope these two networks will give justice to these doramas..JDORAMAS ROCK

whoa 2 weeks? thats long.. how long did they play it every series? its kinda hard to tell, i have the original vcds and it comes with 4 cds. i thought theyre pretty short _________________

Actually it's 30 mins per day. It was shown every weekdays and aired for 2 weeks but didn't reach friday on it's 2nd week. It should have been shown longer if it was aired once a week. _________________

hello littlemissfab!(hope i got the name right..)i perfectly understand on what you are feeling right now.i feel the same way too!!but you know,you can't control the excitement when you learn that jdramas will finally be shown in the philippines.about being selfish,well yeah,i hate to see other girls gushing over my TAKUYA KIMURA.(abs will be showing HERO,ne?-)c'mon let's admit it!im not picking a fight but jap guys are waaaayyyy cuter than k-actors...do you agree?

In fairness.. cute naman si matsujun ha!!! well, his overbite or excessive prescence of teeth bothers me a bit. it's like.. gwapo ka sana, wag ka na lang magsmile.. watching gokusen, i figured that he has angles where he really looks good and some angles where i was like "WTF? kinababaliwan sa japan to?"
in all fairness.. he's my favorite from Arashi.
but then again, they're also crazy about Kamenashi Kazuya.. (no offense meant to the people who find him hot.) Although ang cute niya sa Game Cube Dance Dance revolution CM..

but you are forgetting the fact that gma has tons and tons and tons of commercials...
I wonder when are they going to show gokusen...

When it is Wonbin and other Koreans who speak they dub it in tagalog but when it is Kyoko Fukada and other Japanese actors turn to speak, they dub it in english with Japanese accent.
