Actress Tomoko Yamaguchi will be a voice actress for the Japanese dub of "The Golden Compass," which comes to Japan on March 1. This is only her second voice acting role, with the first being 14 years ago in the animated film "Coo: Tooi Umi Kara Kita Coo." In "The Golden Compass," she will be the voice of the sinister Mrs. Coulter, who is played by Nicole Kidman.

Meanwhile, actor Ken Ogata has also signed on for his first voice acting role. He will provide the voice of Iorek Byrnison, who is voiced by Ian McKellen in the original.

Yamaguchi, along with Riko Narumi and Mariya Nishiuchi, will attend the film's world premiere in London on the 27th

kingz19, Tomoko Yamaguchi gave up acting over 10 years ago. her last drama was Long Vacation in 1996....in fact she didn't make any public appearances since then until October 2006. she retired from acting a long time ago.

Sultry actress Tomoko Yamaguchi has got Japan's Netizens abuzz following a repeat broadcast of a show she made in the Belgian capital where the front of her gown reveals some Brussels sprouts of her own, according to Flash (1/22).

With footage that suggests it may have been cold in Belgium when she was filming, Yamaguchi's "headlights" have gotten her into the limelight for exposing more of the actress than she has generally been willing to reveal.

Online fans of the 43-year-old actress are delighted at NTV's broadcast satellite channel's decision to re-run on Jan. 1 a show Yamaguchi made in Belgium while wearing a skimpy gown that left little to the imagination, clearly displaying that she was not only bereft of a bra, but also that her nipples were erect.

"Yamaguchi caused a stir among her fans last year with suggestions that she wasn't wearing panties in a show that appeared on satellite TV for BS Japan and TV Tokyo, but this show (which first screened in November last year) is even better because she's clearly not wearing a bra," a Japanese Netizen tells Flash. "Of course everybody's tongues are wagging about this. And you've got to laud the decision to re-run the program over the New Year because everyone was on holidays at the time and more people would have gotten the chance to see it."

A fan over at d-addicts has decided to sub one of Tomoko's early shows. Mou Daremo Aisanai. (1991)

This show is not a comedy. I guess the best way I can describe it is to call it a woman done wrong...seeks revenge melodrama.
