If you dislike eating chili but are being forced to, drink milk instead of water to sooth your throat. It helps to ????? enzyme blah blah. Sorry, forgot the rest of the info. Anyway, I read it from a Science article in the newspaper some time back.

Besides water, Orange Juice and Soda doesn't help either. I've tried.
My mom said hot water helps, but it really burns your tongue (the heat of the water and the chili sensation increases like 10x) Beaten

and....you're going to need more then one cup of milk.

OMGOSH. Hot water?! Nuts or what? Sweat Beaten I'd tried milk before and it works...after reading that article. If you like drinking cold milk, all the better.

One quart of water plus one quart of (pure) alcohol equals 1-3/4 quarts of total liquid.

in 1988 alain prost outscored team mate ayrton senna in the f1 championship, yet ayrton was declared champ.
why? in those days only the best 11 results counted toward the championship. Crazy

it was the french who first called britain great in order to distinguish the country from brittany, great meaning large, hence great britain.
i know there are plenty of people out there who think we're megalomaniacs and called our country great! hehe

You can spill hot coffee in a powerbar with a computer plugged in it, and running, without causing the computer to crash, start a fire or the surge protection to switch off.

I was making coffee this morning at the office and forgot to put the coffee pot back in the coffee machine before turning it on. ashamed
I made a big mess, 12 cups of coffee on the floor.

Fact #2. Coffee machine donft put brewed coffee in the pot if itfs located 3 feet away from the machine. Beaten

There's this "stupid fact" which many parents and teachers (gosh!) used to teach their children. In order to improve your eyesight, look at green things. The best is to wake up 7am in the morning and look at the grass field.

But in this century, the children are now teaching their parents and teachers that looking at distant objects every now and then relaxes your eye muscles and this helps to not strain your eyes. Which leads to better eyesight.

I have been taught the former since I was young btw. And I actually did something silly in primary school...by looking at my green file for 1/2 hour because these "adults" say that it can "improve eyesight". I am glad Biology saved my eyes. Beaten
