Watching the first episode was like watching a movie, with all the twists and turns, Japanese versus Korea, and even characters being linked to each other in one way or another.

I cant quite put my finger on it....but I am very suspicous of Shos boss Detective Isaki, and just the way Sos father was kill. Hmmm will have to wait and see.

My five yen.

I just finished looking over episode 2, and Choi Ji Woo's acting seems to slip off and go toward a more flamboyant and INYOURFACE Korean style than episode 1......SadSadSadSad It doesn't fit with how the other actors are acting. Even the other Korean actors have toned it down a bit. Grumble

Nonetheless, episode 2 is cute. ^o^ And has a lot more action! Mokomichi as a gangster was hard to swallow, but it shows his skills.

this drama seems a huge rip off from the HK Internal Affairs trilology.

Those scenes of the 360 camer angles is a bit overdone. I think I

must have seen it at least 15 times in ep01, are they trying to make it

feel romantic??

I dunno what they were trying to do, but it was making me dizzy after a while...

Ep 01 was pretty good, and I agree it had a movie-esque feel to it. I'm going to keep watching it for a while and see how it plays out.

Agree, her acting did regress back into kdrama mode. especially during that first scene where she's reading him the note, her acting was painfully bad! her facial expressions were so freakin stilted, wanted to Bang Head while watching her trying to feign her usual "cute and innocent" repatoire Grumble .
just shows us how good of an actor takenouchi really is, performing so well against such a incompetent female lead, I'm sure it aint easy for him LOL.
i liked ep.2 well enough, aside from choi that is. Oh and that beginning scene where they both turn back to look at eachother while walking away, god i hated that scene, its a straight ripoff of an kdrama cliche.
Takenouchi was incredibly hot though, he has such a handsome face *swoons*

yup yup.....
my sis asked my what do i think of rondo after watching it i told her it's korean/japanese "Moh Gann Dou"the only missing is the spy in the police station
anyway I'm waching this drama for Takenouchi Yutaka, I hope it's getting better. as Choi Ji Woo, sorry to say this but i never really like her acting even when i watch teh whole "winter sonata" and "beautiful days" still don't like her.......and in here she isn't any different than her other korean series

i will be keep on watching ....waiting for the english sub....

That's the first thing that popped into my head after I read the premise. This show looks interesting, I'll check it out soon. And the first episode is an hour and a half long!? Shocked
