watched Ranma on Sunday night. It was a blast! Very true to the flavor of the anime/manga and well cast (except possibly for the boy Ranma). I really hope they turn it into a series.

Friday�fs prime time began with two specials, the live-action adaption of �eRanma 1/2�e (NTV), starring Aragaki Yui, and the suspense medical drama special, �eAkujotachi no Mes�e (Fuji TV), starring Nakama Yukie.
The former wasn�ft received very well by the viewers, resulting in quite a low rating of 7.9%. Before the broadcast, many fans of the original manga and anime already voiced their concern regarding a live-action adaption. Those who ended up watching it anyway, immediately voiced their disappointment with the acting of some of the young actors. For Aragaki this means that she has yet to proof that she can attract and enchant a lot of viewers by herself, since none of her solo-starring projects have achieved high ratings so far. _________________

Aragaki Yui's special CM for 'Mobage' to air one-time only
It's been revealed that a special version of Aragaki Yui's CM for DeNA's portal site, 'Mobage', will air for one-time only.
The original CM is currently airing in three different versions, each 15-seconds long. In these CMs, Aragaki waits for her significant other in a city lit up with dazzling Christmas displays.
The special version of the CM will air once only on December 23rd from 12:45 a.m., after the final episode of the drama, "Kaito Royale". This 90-second CM will feature an impressive storyline said to enliven the mood of Christmas. Aragaki didn't use a script, improvising instead with the guidance of her staff. This special CM will also include extra cuts not revealed in previous versions.

Promo event last week for the Kirin no Tsubasa movie.
On TV last Friday still doing promos for the film which is coming out this weekend.
New Mobage CM also came out last Friday.
Hosting the Girls Locks! show again this week but the site hasn't been updated yet with anything from the first show. _________________

Fuji TV has just announced another new drama for the upcoming spring season titled, �eLegal High�e. This new drama will star actor Sakai Masato and actress Aragaki Yui as lawyers who aren�ft really that fond of each other.
�eLegal High�f is an original and thrilling comedy written by popular scriptwriter Kosawa Ryota (the �gALWAYS�h series). The title �glegal high�h means �gto get high on law�g, which is a direct hint at the main character, lawyer �eKomikado Kensuke�e (Sakai), who cannot get enough from using the law at his advantage in the courtroom. Komikado comes from a 3rd rate university, however, he passes the bar examination and opens up a law office.
Komikado is an absolutely arrogant and eccentric fellow who loves money, fame, and women more than anything else. His wicked tongue is something else, much to the despair of his very serious colleague �eMayuzumi Machiko�e (Aragaki). They fight at every opportunity, but as usual that seems to be the perfect flowerbed for a gradually growing love. Despite Komikado�fs arrogant nature, he�fs working under the honorable creed that a lawyer should always work in the best interest of his client. He simply knows how to exhibit his abilities in the courtroom whenever things are looking bad and in his career has won every single lawsuit.
Sakai commented about why he accepted the offer, �gThe script is just too interesting. Furthermore, it�fs my first time working with Aragaki. I want to work as hard as I can and hope that will be enough to keep up with her energy.�h
Also appearing in the drama will be Namase Katsuhisa as the former boss of Komikado who is now the head of a major law office, Koike Eiko as Komikado�fs secretary, and Satomi Kotaru as the clerk for the odd jobs in Komikado�fs office. For Satomi this will be his first Fuji TV drama in 15 years.
�eLegal High�f is going to replace this season�fs �eStrawberry Night�e in the popular 9:00 pm time slot on Tuesday. Its first episode will air in April.
