This all stemmed from the fact that her management agency is experiencing financial problems. Since she is one of their biggest stars, she has been pulled into the mess too. The agency has been getting funding from a mobile game company, and this is the reason why she's currently their spokesperson.
She has also expressed desires to concentrate on her singing career. She doesn't really love acting, and it has always been her lifelong dream to be a singer. She wondered why her singing career never took off when actress Kuroki Meisa and model Yamada Yuu both had singing careers. They also both happen to be from Okinawa, like Aragaki.
Aragaki's management agency is LesPros Entertainment. Talents under them also include Yoshikawa Hinano, Hasegawa Kyoko, and Kawashima Umika.
So that's why she is the face for Mobage....
OMG no Oh god, I hope the company will recover from this and that Gakky will continue her career.
She just has a new incoming drama. I didn't know she doesn't like acting at all...but we love her!
I hope this rumour isn't true at all

It was announced on June 20th that actress Aragaki Yui has been chosen as the charity personality for NTV�fs annual charity program �g24-Hour Television 35 Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu.�h
This year will be the 35th time that 24-Hour Television will be airing, and as announced previously, popular group Arashi will be its main personality. Also professional wrestler Sasaki Kensuke, talento Hokuto Akira, and their 2 sons will be the runners for the charity marathon.
�g24-Hour Television 35 Ai wa Chikyuu wo Sukuu�h is scheduled to be aired on August 25th ~ 26th on NTV.

Yui Aragaki to play first time mother in 'Twilight Sasarasaya'
Aragaki Yui will play a mother for the first time in the new movie "TWILIGHT Sasarasaya" which will be released this autumn. She plays the role of Saya, a young mother who had just given birth to her first son but loses her husband Yutaro (Oizumi Yo) due to a freak accident and has to face the struggles of living on her own with her baby. Unable to leave his family in this state, Yutaro who has become a ghost makes use of his neighbours' bodies to help his wife along the way. His neighbours will be played by Nakamura Aoi and Fuji Sumiko.
Aragaki said that when she held the baby playing her son in the movie, he stopped crying immediately so she was very happy about that. Oizumi who is already a father of one, said that since Saya is supposed to be a newbie mother, he thinks that Aragaki can pull off this role well. In response to this, Aragaki said that as she has a pet dog, she can somewhat understand how it feels to be a mother.

Yui Aragaki to star in NTV 2015 Fall drama
Aragaki Yui and Okada Masaki will be working together in the upcoming NTV Autumn 2015 drama "Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku" (The memorandum of Okitegami Kyoko) which will be shown from October in the Saturdays 9pm timeslot. The drama which is based on the novel by Nishio Ishin, features Aragaki as Okitegami Kyoko, a private detective who is able to solve her cases on the same day she receives them but forgets everything by the next day. She meets Kakushidate Yakusuke (Okada) who has been unlucky since young and always suspected of being the culprit whenever bad things happened around him. Although Kyoko keeps forgetting about him, Yakusuke finds himself increasingly drawn to her and tries hard to make her remember him.
Co-stars include Oikawa Mitsuhiro who plays Kizunai Horo, the boss of the detective agency cum the owner of a cafe named Sand Glass and a secondhand clothing store, Hey! Say! JUMP's Arioka Daiki who plays Narikawa Nuru, an assistant to Kyoko's work and helps Yakusuke woo her and Uchida Rio who plays Makuma Makuru, another assistant in the detective agency.
