Takuya Kimura's Concerto
I was like a kid back then, I didn't even know who Takuya Kimura was then years later, when I rediscovered Jdoramas and fell in love with Kimura....I saw Concerto again, I was like.."Holy shizzle, I saw this when I was a kid!" _________________
My first dorama... I don't even know its title. I just remember watching it every week, falling in love with the suave lead actor (on hindsight, I think the lead actor was Yutaka Takenouchi) but I really can't remember.
What I recall was how Japanese dramas struck me as something so different from the other dramas I watched. They were concise, had great acting and had good storylines and direction.
Then in 2001, I started watching Love Generation. That's how my love for Japanese dramas started, nothing else could compare. I was so in love with the whole concept of the show - the acting, the storyline, KIMURA TAKUYA AND MATSU TAKAKO. I love that pairing so much, it's still my favourite on-screen couple to date.
Kimura Takuya is an icon for doramas. I can say he single-handedly started this dorama trend in my country.
