Ahhh... nope. not my eyes. i'm just so poor at remembering things. ~sigh~

So, the one that goes Igarashiiiiii........!!!! is the wicked lady cop in Kuitan, and igarashi is the old daddy cop ( i remembered igarashi as Go Morita, wkakaak Beaten )

And, the girl who works at the kuitan office was the cop at cutie honey who wore glassess and pointed a gun at the cutie honey byotch.

My bad...

So the people living together in the office is kindaichi, kuitan, the girl, and Go Morita...
I've just realized that i forgot Go Morita's character's name... Beaten

Just finished watching the SP. It was a lot of fun as usual, and a lot of food, also as usual. What piqued my interested was that the first half of the SP included a lot of scenes from Hong Kong, my home town.

I'm grateful that the SP showed only positive scenes of Hong Kong - not the tourist traps but the open street markets and stuff. Made me homesick a bit.

None of the Holme's Agency HK crew was Chinese, at least not Hong Kong Chinese. They all spoke Cantonese (the indigenous language of Hong Kong) with an accent. Out of interest I looked up the actress who played the lady sidekick, Kerry Wong. She turned out to be a Japanese artiste, Kasugai Seina, who had done some work in Hong Kong.

The rest of the local cast - the police, the restaurant waitress, Chan's (the boy sidekick) family were all locals. It was interesting to hear their chitchat, in Cantonese, while the main dialog was being delivered in Japanese.

All in all, an interesting show that will most certainly leave you hungry.

I think it's safe to say that the main attraction of this show is the food, not the casts' martial arts skills. Doh!

Without a doubt.

But revisiting/spoofing the Bruce Lee mythos brings an "Oh jeez" to my lips...

I think it was just a shameless promotion of his (then) upcoming drama, "Tatta Hitotsu no Koi".

Name me one instance of Kame's acting that isn't horrible.

At least he doesn't make me nauseous.

I just started watching this drama (finished epi 2 just now) and it's grand so far! I mean, it's PAINFUL to watch, because of all the delicious food, but it's still enjoyable. I'm not sure if I'm hooked yet 100 per cent, but we'll see how it goes.

Higashiyama Noriyuki is very attractive. Not HOT, but attractive. I LOVED the fight he had in epi 2 with the chopsticks. SO funny! lol

Oh, I so agree. He looks so very gentlemanly, doesn't he?

*Is "gentlemanly" even a word?*
