You and I both. But I'll prolly be tied in for the long run, because I also enjoy Keiko-chan.

Watched the 1st episode and it was ok. I'm sure this one will be popular with the young ladies.

Until "Slam Dunk" is made into live action this will have to do.

I watched the 1st episode and no offence, but I thought the acting was really bad. Shake Head Despite a lacklustre first eppy rating, I believe the ratings will improve in subsequent episodes. The pretty boys & pretty girls formula always work! Haha.

Me three. I really liked him in Nobuta and Kurosagi. I kinda lost track of him after he sported his new Kimutaku-like hairstyle.

Just checked out the first episode raw to improve my Japanese listening comprehension, and I probably missed out on a lot, but I have to say this isn't as terrible as I thought it would be...pretty sweet actually Smile

A few things I particularly enjoyed were the chemistry between Kitagawa Keiko and Kanjiya Shihori (I could see them as being great friends in real life!), the background music selection (B'z and the Beatles! They played a very charming variation of "A Day in the Life" and I couldn't help but grin), and the product placement, lol. I've read somewhere that Kitagawa Keiko is a great fan of Murakami Haruki, and in one of the bookstore scenes, they pan the camera so you can see a clear shot of his latest book 1Q84 on sale. I thought that was cute.

Other than that, there were a lot of moé moments, which I don't mind so much, but I do hope that won't end up being the main focus of the drama...I also thought it was funny how Yamapi (who is in desperate need of a hair cut) looks so puny next to Ito Hideaki!

i watched 1st ep last night and i have to say Yamapi's acting was not as bad as people say. ok, i might have a soft spot for him after watching NWP but it did not blind my eyes for not see his poor actings.
but he does look like kimutaku now. specially with that hair.
kitagawa was great in there. considering how i feel about Aibusuck's acting hehe i really did not expect something great of her anyway.

I think i will carry one watching to see what happens. but i am fastforwarding all the basketball games. I can't stand sport based dramas.
