this one is easy:

3 pairs of red

3 pairs of yello

2 pairs of blue

what's the minimum number of socks u should get to have a pair.

Take out 3, and then 2 of these are guaranteed to be the same color. Wink

okay, here's another one.

Twice eight are ten of us, and ten but three.
Three of us are five. What can we be?
If this is not enough, I will tell you more.
Twelve of us are six, and nine but four.
What are we?

OK, here's another math riddle:

If you can make one cigar out of 3 butts, and you have 10 butts, how can you smoke a total of 5 cigars?

Only if you have a SMART ASS! Smile

as for the riddle, assuming after you smoke a cigar, you are left with a butt, you only smoke 2 butts of a reconstituted cigar, then 10 butts makes 5 cigars.

Correct answer:

After you smoke the 4th cigar, you have 2 butts. Then you ask a friend to lend you another butt, you make the cigar, smoke it, and RETURN the butt to your friend - better to lose a butt than your friend!

I think the previous one was very easy. The next question:
How many numbers are there between "2" and "4"?

well....I am kinda new here....but since this is a riddles post.....anyone care to try this one out?

This thing all things devours,
Birds,beasts,trees,flowers,
Gnaws iron,bites steel,
Grinds hard stones to meal,
Slays kings,ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.

there is another.....

Voiceless it cries,
Wingless flutters,
Toothless bites,
Mouthless mutters.

well......kinda easy actually........but these riddles are pretty ancient....
